Heya
I know the topic title is a bit noobish, but I also want Noobs to feel welcome reading it. I'm posting for 2 reasons:
1. I have a Ele and really wanna get Obsidian Armor(At least have something to show for 500 game hours with her)
2. I'm at a IBM Hp-AIX course and a bit bored... :P
So far, Ive been trying to save up for my ele's Obsidian Armor, I get to round 60k(I know it's not allot) then end up spending it on SoC's and new Hero skills and Runes. I've been trying to vanquish area's in Prophecies. Although you get quite a bit per run; once you start it's not something you can just quit 10min in because then you would never vanquish the area. Any kewl spots for a Ele to farm on something to do to save up enough cash for Obsidian Armor?

Eles can far lots of places. Kenetic armor basically makes you invincible to solo certain areas (like the Minos in Elona's Reach mission).
There is also the popular Tera Tank Build (mantra of earth, stone striker, and stoneflesh aura) that can be used with Ancestral Visage, Storm Djinn's haste (to run away for Attaxes) and 3 offensive skills (usually sandstorm, earthquake, and aftershock) to solo a lot of things, including the Underworld. Why buy ecto when you can farm it yourself?

Not sure if most ppl just did farming, some of the guys say they bought low and selled high. Dont know what kinda answer I was expecting. Hoped to hear of another constructive way to earning a title(or something :P) while farming cash. Instead of just tedious farming. I think part of starting this thread is because i'm sitting in class and looking for something to do :P

Its key to keep the spending low when your trying to save up for stuff.
Often most people squander there money on items they think look cool only to find a better item shortly after.
Always look on Wiki for pics of the skin your thinking of buying to see if its the best out there or if something else is better so you can skip it.
If your saving up then only equip 3-4 heros with runes and skills and use them constantly, that can save you a bundle, + use pvp arenas to gain faction to unlock skills for them so you don't need any cash at all.

A little tip; heroes work just as well with unwanted weapons and runes you find on the ground as they do with that 20/20 15^50 +30hp weapon and runes bought from traders/other players.

Buy 4 or 5 15k sets with the money you make for FOW armor. FoW armor is very Ugly and if you want somethin to show with that much money you can show 5 sets of 15k armor and put all 5 in your HoM, you will prolly get more respect if you dont buy FoW armor. Ele FoW is allright looking but still Fugly.
