[card]Onslaught[/card]
I was looking to make a new build for my Derv with Onslaught and then after I was half way done I thought if this woudl work better with any other profession, maybea R/D?
At 15 Expertise skills cost 60% less Energy to use. Does this stack Onslaught to make it 85%? And what NON Ranger skills does Expertise affect? All of them? Or just certain types.
Expertise Attribute and Onslaught Skill.

Skills, touch skills/spells, attacks, traps and nature rituals are effected by Expertise. I'm not so sure about binding rituals, but I think those are also effected by it.
As for making a R/D, only because you want Expertise and Onslaught to stack (which they probably do) is... well...I don't know... Why? Rangers can't use Mysticism, can't have runes that the Dervish can have and have only 3 energy regeneration. Mysticism on a Dervish should cover the energy you would normally spare with Expertise imo, and then you also have a better damager.

At 15 expertise, and with Onslaught, you should see a reduction of 70% of all attack skills. 15*4% (= 60% reduction) from Expertise, and .4*.75 (the -25% from Onslaught)=.3.
Expertise reduces exactly what it says it does: Ranger skills, attack skills, rituals and touch skills (including touch spells, as everything in your skills inventory is a skill). There really isn't a need to use Onslaught to reduce costs since Expertise is such a huge reducer already. For a Ranger primary, you're really only getting the reduced recharges, which really isn't needed.
