Ok, so I'm using a W/P Dragonslasher, with Sab's 3-Necro build. I'm having problems with minister cho's estate ( MINISTER CHO'S ESTATE! *GASP* ). Can anyone help me? Thx!

It's extremely easy. BHA Ranger (target the scribes/servants first, AoE sucks), one MM, one hybrid LoD protector and one damage dealer melee.

NOTE: Just VQed it with my warrior.

Now just need some general tips before I go bonkers and smash my PC into oblivion ^_^.

Well, for the main land you'll face the Jade Brotherhood in the first areas of Kaineng. I recommend bonding yourself and take the initial spike, then send the rest of your heroes and henchmen into battle. It's a sucky strategy, but these guys guys can turn your henchmen into toast within a second (not literally but you get the point... I hope =P).

Afflicted are also sucky, especially their Elementalists. If you're going to use bonding here, be sure to get their Mesmers first, they got enchantment removal.

Same for the Wardens in Echovald Forest, get their Mesmers first. I've used Sab's 3 Necromancers for a few areas here, and they work pretty good there.

Jade Sea is cake, nothing to worry about.=P

K. So... on afflicted, mes > ele > whatever

Wardens: Mesmer > whatever

Jade sea: whatever

Am I right - this what u saying? if so thats good

Yeah, but Wardens don't spike that hard, no bonding is needed for them. If you don't use Bonds get their Ritualists (they heal) first, then their Elementalists (they use AoE Earth Magic).

Mmmmm, ok. What if the jade brotherhood wars get to my casters though - is that bad?

Their healing is weak, so first go for their Elementalists, they are the most dangerous, then the melee or ritualists (if there are 2 or more it can make killing the warriors a bit harder =P). Their Mesmers are not that dangerous. Melee is easily countered by bringing Ward against Melee, blind or weak.
Elementalist spikes are survived by bonds on you; after you take the first spike, let the henchmen go in and start spiking some of them.

your only job is to tank..hench will do rest^^this is wery easy way for wammo to vanguish after u learn the pul/flag/hold/tank combo etc..i think i had mm instead of ss in kaineng city area like vs jade broterhood..

I tend to get a chuckle out of people that do 1 searing flame ele. They really work best with 2, if you are going to do only 1 fire ele, it makes more sense to do the SH ele.

Cantha in general except for Morostav Trail ( due to heavy AOE ) is all very easy much more so then Elona / Tyria!

no need for consumables EVER - newb island is all pretty basics - Sab's necro builds whilst nice are not necessity!!!

just take a BHA ranger with you and watch out for ele bosses - some pack a bloody brutal kick with their elites - shenzun tunnels for instances massive damage unless protted up :P

if you need any tips on a certain area just PM me IG

can offer you tips on any area as I have canthan vanquisher ^^

How do you vanquish Morostav Trail. The hardest part is getting through a boss and group in a cul-de-sac area close to one of the towns.

Yea, that warrior boss is fierce.

I think when I managed it I had The O-Man create a few minions in preparation, I then went in and lured the group out, slapped Pain Inverter on one of the Eles, and tried to keep all Warriors, in particular the boss, blinded, until all his little caster mates were dead.

Keeping him blind stops the damage he can chuck out himself, allowing you to pick off everyone else.

For some reason I actually found the Quickshot Ranger boss the worst. Maybe I'd got complacent by that point, but on my successful attempt I only suffered 3 partywipes. 2 were caused by the Quickshot boss.

True enough that, 3 SF Eles work even better than 2 of course. If you have multiple SF Eles it's always auspicious to have one carry Mark of Rodgort to make the whole process work even better.

For a lot of Hard Mode I personally found Blind to be the best way forward, I completed it on my Ele, using Air Magic. Inflicting a condition on physical damage dealers meaning they have a 90% chance to miss is just drool-worthy. Warriors, Rangers and Assassins hit very hard in Hard Mode, and blinding them pretty much stops them in their tracks.

The 10% they do get a hit through it's only about 20 damage .

I leave the Weakness to Master of Whispers who invariably comes along for the ride with Enfeebling Blood.

If I didn't have a necro I'd probably take it.

Question for you guys.. would a hero elementalist with Bsurge know how/when to use it/spread it around? I assume not, but I'm curious, as I'm trying to VQ the mainland with my monk, so I have few utility options along those lines.

I've been running Sab's necros, myself (SY/TNTF Paragon). Add in Kai Ying for ward, Healing monk (Tai/Mhenlo/Danika, whoever it is), and two warriors. I've had no problems with vanquishing...yet.

Nearly had the disaster with Sunreach, but I survived. Worried, as I have Sunjiang District Explorable to finish.

Edit: Currently at 30/33.

Completed Raisu Palace Explorable last night. Only got into issues with 2 or more Shiroken Elementalists. Sliver armor is nasty, regardless of mode. The two warriors helped, as they do have Storm of Swords there.

Sunjiang is very easy actually I don't understand why people always say its so hard? melee is not massively advisable there...you should roll as a tank and scrap the melee IMO!

the mobs majority of the time are very small / weak...just be careful with the warrior boss and he is a pain - Pain Inverter will wreck him!

EoE is a way to deal extra damage to afflicted if you want a slightly quicker run - MM is not advisable here as over-aggro can occur regularily if you are not careful!

SS necro will make your life alot easier as well - refer to my post in the heroes / AI section for the builds I ran on my SS necro / SH ele / monk for this area - will greatly help you I assure!

A 'Sin with Siphon Strength will most likely be of great use in this area - haven't had time to check this theory out but the build is on my post as well if you want to use it : http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10219798

I do not agree with them or use them in any way - but consumables ridiculously speed up this vanquish! - from what a friend told me last time I saw him IRL

Reason I thought this would be hard is I don't enjoy Afflicted mixed with Shiroken mixed with the Constructs. You were correct, as it was easier than expected. Completed that with an guildie yesterday.

Only Ferndale and Arborstone to complete.

Only Ferndale and Arborstone to complete. ferndale is so easy...shouldn't present you with any probs...monk SH ele SS nec and your breezing...arborstone - don't have that tree singer quest active it takes longer to complete...its very basic couple of tough(ish) bosses but the rest is pretty simple...1 mob with only rit and ranger enemies is a pain due to AoE but rest is alright...morostav is much harder - if you have done that you will have no problem!

GL

---*flicks back to Guild Wars and starts finishing up Elona Vanquisher 27/34* Yeah, I made sure to dump any Kurzick quests inside Arborstone explorable.

Already finished Morostav, which was annoying (Sunreach and the Ele boss surrounded by 6 rits). Should have it finished by the end of the weekend.

Edit: Ferndale and Arborstone were a joke. Arborstone is just long....too long. Completed Canthan Vanquisher on Saturday night.
