55HP heroes
h9dlb
I have prophecies but never really played it, concentrating most of my time on Nightfall and most recently GWEN. I've been reading about 55HP classes - do I really need to get the grim cresta from the prophesies game and how best do I do this with my Nightfall toon given that I've not really explored the prophesies lands ? Any alternative tips to make an invinci monk or necro hero ?

You need to buy the Grim Cesta from someone, as it isn't obtainable if you start off in Nightfall.
You don't NEED the Grim Cesta (i.e. look up the 105HP monk), but it makes life a lot easier...

Lol yeah, it's simple to buy it off somebody. It's a few platinums nowadays, like 4-5k. Just shout for "-50hp cesta".

Secondly, 55/105/130/etc builds are meant as solo farming builds. Most of them don't even work unless everything is attacking them constantly. On top of that, they contribute nearly nothing to the group. They have absolutely no place whatsoever in any kind of group setting.

Now for heros, not in your life. They suck at it they wont even keep enchants on themselves without being forced to.

You say you have prophesies but never really played it, how much did you play ?
Since the mission to get the -50 hp item comes really early in the game I wonder if you are able to get it yourself.
Its been a while but I think the mission comes from the scribe in post searing ascalon.

Actually when you take part in the Bosun tournament in GWEN you fight mhenlo that runs a 55hp build. Needless to say ppl beat him(including my self :P) so i'm sure the heroes can use it. It will take some manual intervention though to put all the 'Energy drains' on him. And then you must disable those skills by shift+clicking on the skill it self. So he doesn't disable it when not in a fight. Could be interesting. unfortunately I'm currently on course and will not get round to testing it up and until Saturday. But maybe someone should try and see what happens.
Guns Up!
This might be a little off topic but where do you get the -55hp cesta in Proph?

[skill]Protective Bond[/skill]
I only KNOW he uses:
[skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Healing Breeze[/skill][skill]Shield of Judgment[/skill]
Be nice if someone who has seen his full skill use can post it, as I can't find a listing of the full set he uses.

As you will notice it claims Menhlo is running a 55 monk build. It does not however reveal that prot spirit is one of the skiills that he is using. However, his skill list appears to be somewhat incomplete. It does however appear to fill in some of the skills you are missing. I believe you should edit the wiki page to include Protective Bond. I myself have not fought Menhlo in the tournment so I really can't contribute.
Of course if he is using Protective Bond, he could be 105, he could also be a 55.
Back to the topic of Heros running 55 builds...in a word: unpractical.
