how do i get pets

im not talking about pets like the ranger once. how do i get the cool pets. it says you get on your birthday. if i have 3 characters does one of them have to be a year or is it based on how long i have played

mini pets are based on the age of the character, after 1 year give or take a day or two they will get a present. If you create two characters on Janurary 1st and 2 on the 15th, two will get presents on the 1st and the other two on the 15th of Janurary next year, and every Janurary there after until they shut down the servers.

A birthday mini shows up whenever your character turns one year old (type /age).
How many hours you've played isn't important. Just look for the "for x months" part to hit 12. You'll get one for each character when they turn 1 year old (so you'll get multiple ones eventually).

Plus: Some mini pets were from magazines. The Black Moa Chick is from an ingame 'treasure hunt'.

It only based on when the character was created. Doesn't matter if you've played it or not. /age is your friend if you want to know how old your character is.(you probably know this already, just saying in case)
