The only info we have is the one anet gave us. The rest is just pure speculation or rumors. So www.guildwars.com would a good place to start.

I really wish they would clarify how putting things in the Hall of Monuments will translate into helping out your toons in GW2. Should I get as much as possible in the monument of 1 of my characters? Is it more account based and I should try to put something in the Hall of each of my characters? It might help guide how I spend the time in early 2008 in the game if I knew more about how it translates in GW2.

I think it's been stated (by Gaile) that HoM will NOT give any benefits to GW2 characters, as far as weapons, armor, etc. Everyone should start out fresh, with no one getting an advantage due to HoM.
