Shiro Tanking Build
creelie
I've seen videos of assassins "soloing" Shiro in Imperial Sanctum and Gate of Madness, and I've seen some assassins running Imperial Sanctum as well.
1. Does anyone know the full build? The videos are much with the small and grainy.
2. Would this build work against Shiro in Gate of Madness HM? I care more about longevity than damage; in fact it would be really bad if he died before we were ready.
3. Is this build tricky and reliant on luck, or pretty foolproof? Could a hero run it?

Anime Divine
yes i have that build aswell
key skills are critical agility, way of perfection, critical eye, critical defense
way of the assasin... rest lead attack, offhand, attack and dual attack of wichever you like
critical defense refreshes everytime you land a critical hit in wich case u get
75 % chance of criticals with those skills.
zealous daggers can help since it will take almost 10 min do hold shiro depends on how fast ur party moves. heroes can can be used every mission.
ive done it before its hard work cos u have to look out for them while fighting shiro. and in always leave a monk with you. not worth going all the trouble just to solo shiro and die. ive seen it happen a couple of times.
unless u have another build that can keep you alive.

Why would you solo shiro?
I have never really figured out why people like to solo him so much, but I saw one person trying to use unlimated shadowform for it.

Perma-SF to solo Shiro is just funny. And people do it because... well, it's easier to solo Shiro than it is to bring a group. Seriously. The other people get banished, it's just a pain in the ass. Of course, this is assuming you don't care about master's time. If you want master's time, you're going to need to bring competent people along.
The build:
Golden Phoenix Strike
Death Blossom
Moebius Strike
Critical Strike
Critical Defenses
Critical Agility
Way of Perfection or Mystic Regeneration
Spread your points however you want. Note that, if you use Mystic Regeneration, you're going to want 8 points in it so you can get +3 regen per enchantment.
There's no point in using conditions because, once you get him down to ~30% health, he starts using whatever skill that is that cancels hexes and transfers conditions back to you.
Use Zealous Daggers of Fortitude/Enchanting to make sure that you can Moebius-DB as long as possible. Critical Strike for a quick spike heal (if you're using WoP), or just to get your energy back up.
If you want to be extra safe, drop Critical Strike so you can bring Way of Perfection and Mystic Regeneration. It'll take a hell of a lot longer, but it's still doable.

and his crazy meditation stance? Can you dish out enough dmg quick enough so it doesn't kill you when he comes out of it? (the one in sanctum, that you can't use wild strike on)
zknifeh
yes, after all u do about 120 armor ignoring dmg(from skills only)+dagger dmg every 2 seconds and u only need to reach like 600-700 dmg... he wont kill u with it

I'm interested in it for Gate of Madness HM. You can't just ignore him the way you can in NM; something has to be done about him, either killing him first, or leaving a reliable tank of some kind to keep him busy.

That build does enough damage to get him out of that with no worries. More importantly, there's nothing you can do to stop that skill besides damage the crap out of him.
Another alternative is to drop a skill (probably Critical Strike) and bring Wild Blow. That'll stop his Battle Scars, which can wreak havoc on you if you're not careful.

Considering you're already an assassin, I'd think Wild Strike would be the way to go.
Captain Yimuru
Meditation of the Reaper isn't a stance. Wild Strike is still handy for ending Battle Scars though. Anyway, Sins dish out enough damage to end MotR fairly fast, and should only take about 180-220 dmg. Which Mhenlo will quckly heal for you in Imperial Sanctum.

creelie: Wild Strike requires a lead, which means an extra skill slot. More importantly, the tanking build is A/*, so it's not like it matters that you have to go /W.
And since you're doing so much damage to him, you want to end the stance as quickly as possible. There's no reason to take even one hit of ~50 life stealing if you don't have to.
