Banned for buying gold unids ?

I just got banned after buying several gold unids - does anyone had ever the same problem ? I've heard buying them it's not a violation of UA...

They don't ban for buying unids unless it's a very new policy lol, like last hour or so. People do it all day, how else to max wisdom titles? We have no way to know what else happens on your account and since you appear to have joined Guru just in time to post this, we don't have any "history" to base anything on. Sorry.

I think the standard procedure when dealing with bot accounts is just to ban it and anyone who's been trading with it.
And it looks like the majority of those 7for5 are farmed by bots.

~There's nothing in the User Agreement that says that you cannot buy gold unids from other people. It's the same as buying ales for your drunkard title, or keys for your chest title.
~If it was a new policy, there would have been something mentioned in the game screen. They wouldn't impose a new rule that would effect millions of buyers without warning.
Perhaps you were under other suspicious activity? Did you...
-Use Third Party Programs?
-Use Bots on your account?
-Buy Gold from Ebay?
-Take advantage of a known bug?
-Make racist/excesively obscene comments in local or whisper chat?
-Buy or sell in Local Chat?
Those are the six people normally get confused on. However, if you bought from a bot, I have doubts Arenanet would pull you for that, since you had no way of knowing. If you haven't violated the UA at all I'd suggest giving Arenanet a Ring an ask for your offense and evidence.

The bots are fairly easy to pick out. Even if you can't, though, I don't think ANet would ban you from buying them. People have bought hundreds and never been touched. Did it give you a reason for being banned? I'd assume it did; never been banned but I hear it tells you the reason. Also, was it a permaban? If it was, it HAD to be something more serious.

The only way you can find out Joc is by contacting support. But I, like many others, doubt it was a result of purchasing unid golds.
