'Title Reset' feature

Couldn't see this suggested anywhere. Basically, an option, probably next to all title tracks except Cartographer or Adventurer of the North (for obvious reasons; you can't just cover the map up again) to reset it, removing it completely and able to start from scratch. Unsure as to whether it could be implemented with Survivor, though a lot of people would like it if they did, and also Legendary Defender of Ascalon wouldn't work either. But certainly it would allow you to try the challenge of achieving titles again, remove Kurzick/Luxon titles (For a complete faction switch) or simply tidy up your titles panel - I know I have points towards Drunkard and Sweet Tooth, for example, that I never intend to follow through and just make my title list longer than it needs to be.

What do you say? Useful feature?

There already is such a button... it even covers the Cartographer titles and restarts them.

No offence to the op but why would i want to spend so much time trying to get the titles maxed only to reset them all again?

I've completed all campaigns like a lot of others have i'm sure & right now the only thing i find mildly interesting is some pvp, the titles & maybe slavers exile aside from helping guildies with their stuff.

I honestly do not see any use in resetting the titles.
If you really want to reset all the titles, then make a new character. Individual reset? Still, do not see any reason to.

Actually maybe with the minor reason of earning more EXP with skill capping, but how useful is that? For survivor? You can't really reset Survivor if you already died, so it wouldn't be useful at all. If say you haven't died, why would you want to reset it if you haven't maxed it. If you did, then make a new character and start over.

Another Survivor one chance rant. It's already Easy Enough.

This puts a whole new definition to having no life.

Many account wide titles take 2+ years of heavy grind to max. All money based titles take millions each. Chest running takes 300+ hours.

For the meaningless protector and cartographer titles however, start a new character.

I can see when people hack accounts and delete characters or items, now they'll delete your account-wide titles too...

Maybe for easier hero skillpoints....that's the only real reason I can see this title being wanted. Asides from the obvious survivor crys.

This does seem rather pointless. Unless if they gave a cookie or another benefit for redoing titles, you would have to be pretty lifeless to want to do sutff like that over and over.

I don't need more ways to accidentally lose stuff I've put a lot of time in. And it's kinda lame anyways. If you want to re-do titles, just make a new character and start the work all over again.

You do understand, that most people don't get any fun out of getting the title.

They grind these titles so that they have a title to display, not for any fun. None of the titles are fun, they're all e-peen related.

That's my take on it, unless this is a not-so-thinly-veiled attempt at survivor QQing, in which case I salute your intrepid approach to subverting the system but similarly think you're pathetic for making the suggestion.

I do whatever titles I feel like for fun. I like collecting skills, i like clearing map, I like obtaining golds(haven't paid for one yet just for the wisdom title)...why not funnel all them to one character and achieve something in the process?

I don't care about displaying them...I probably would/will but I'd move on to do other things. I don't really acknowledge many people who comment me on whatever titles I have (none are max), and when some twit starts talking smack asking me if I have any maxed titles, and starts /ranking me, I just laugh at him and tell him to go someplace...because I really couldn't care less.

(please not sacasm now)

But then I couldnt get survivor with my most favorite char in the whole wide world! And its not fair that I died and never reached 20 before the title came out. I need another chance. Its not fair, its not fair three against one....(wait thats from vampire hunter D sorry)

/Notsigned How often you actually keep this screen open. With my main I have 8 or so that are actual titles and several more that i am sorta working on. The only time I even come close to worring about it is a holiday when I have earned some booze and am working on the title.

Just don't look at titles you are not going to try and max and no it doesn't look like anything is ever going to happen about survivor
