Vizunah Square Survivor Question!

Hey People, just wandering if Vizunah Square Deaths count for Survivor title. I would really appreciate it if somebody would test this out for me. And yes, i have looked at the wiki page, but i wanna be extra sure !

Yes, if you die, your Survivor title is gone. This does NOT include the cutscene death, but if you die from minions during the cutscene (after alive again) that counts. Either do the mission with players who will skip the cutscene (and hope for hench on opposite side) or log out when cutscene starts.

Okay, i will keep that in mind when i do the mission. Logging out seems like the best option

If you don't have a MM on either team there's nothing to worry about.

I did VS within the past week or so (believe it was on Nov. 3) without any harm. My /deaths was the same both before and after the mission. If it is of any consequence, I had one MM in the party and viewed the entire cutscene.

you might get a death if a minions attack you during the end cutscne but if theres is no Mm then you can just watch it

Well there's a 1/16 chance the minions will gang up on you.

Personally I don't like the odds.

Hey, I got my Legendary Survivor, and I did that mission.

1. Just go with Heroes and Hench (2 or 3 monks)
2. Just ask the other person to skip the cinematic. (just log out if you see the 'mission accomplished' thing if he doesnt skip)

How do you instantly log out during a cut scene?

alt + F4 just press you log xD

Or just clsoe down Guild Wars via that sexy "x" in the top right!

Doesn't get you out of the network. Doesn't work. You'll be in the game for a while longer.

How about Alt+F4, then restart GW and re-login? That should be doable quickly enough to draw the character out?

My indomitable survivor paragon (I don't want to talk about it) managed to do exactly that, IIRC. And given how much I screamed at the idiot guildmate who was told to skip, I think I must have got out anyway.

im also working on my survivor but in nightfall
i have read on wiki and it says typing resign counts as a death however
by my trigger happy fingers ive typed resign 2 times but i still have my survivor on after i typed resigned i panicked and closed gw immediatly
mayby thats y i still have 0 deaths
or was there some update can anyone tell me.

/resign doesn't count toward your number of deaths.

Why are people suggesting Alt-F4? It doesn't log you out instantly like F12+Enter

I believe you cannot use F12 while in an animation, and the problem with Vizunah is that the death occurs during the animation.

The death from Shiro doesn't count as a death, last I recall. The problem is that most parties there use one or two Minion Masters, and once Shiro kills all the humans, the minions go berserk and can kill a human, and THAT death counts.

I can confirm this from persnal experience. At the time I was going for a survivor title, and failed to read the wiki guide. Minnions started wailing on me during the cutscene, other human player woudn't skip the cutscene, and, I didn't realize i could simply log out. When the mission was over I had accumulated 1 death. gg =(

That's why you need to immediately log back in. Clicking on the "X" and immediately logging back in has always worked for me.
