We had several trials to complete the first quest but never passed the third room.

So far the team was 2 humans (SS nec & Renewal Nuker) and heroes, completing the Stygian Veil, Ravenheart Gloom and City of Torc'qua w/o big issues, w/o Ursan and Normal Mode.

I'm looking to complete this on classic way and for the first time to see Mallyx.

I've been searching for any tips/guides almost everywhere (Guru, Wiki etc).

I know there are experts on Guru's community and I would appreciate any information/help to complete this challenge.

Get everyone in the room and after everything spawns wait for the group of four Misery Titans to move towards the center of the room. Run into the corner they were previously occupying. From there, you have very little room to move around but you're free to pull the patrols to you and take them down.

My group usually runs right in and aggros the Misery's right away. We'll kill them one at a time (well, try to) proceeding to kill the Rage Titans that spawn and then the Dementias. In the event AoE kills another Misery, we kill the Rage that appears as a result. With so little room to move around in, their AoE can be a huge problem. Hopefully multiple Dementia Titans will converge on one target; it's just easier to prot one target and have everyone else move out of Mystic Sandstorm's range.

After that take the three Terrorweb Dryders and one Greater Dream Rider group (easy enough to kill).

Next pull the four Anguish titans and kill them all ASAP. Despair titans don't do a whole lot, nothing that party heals can't take of that is. If you leave the Anguish Titans alive they'll constantly strip your enchantments, removes hexes, disable random skills and then throw them right back at you. The last thing you want are multiple Fury Titans that you can't keep prot up against or stick hexes. Aegis, Defensive Anthem, and Ward Melee can be very useful to block the Fury's offhand rendering them useless for a period of the time (they have one lead, and it requires you to be hexed).

Finally, the four Rage Titan group. You'll now have plenty of room to move around in with the other patrols dead so they AoE shouldn't be a problem.

With heroes, we tend to flag them right in the corner; they'll stay close and won't aggro the other patrols.

Racthoh will definately give you the best strategy for the third room, but don't forget that foundry will offer even more challanges later (hardest being the Fury's mob IMHO)

Don't forget to lock prisoners (there is a trick there), fight Fury (if you reach him) in the passage to the City of Torc'qua (the best place to fight him)

Thanks both for the reply.

I'm the Renewal Nuker. You said it's outdated. Well, it might be true, but during these runs (in which i tried Sandstorm-Warder and Mind Blast builds. BTW, the Mind Blast it's the one I like most and it's the most energy friendly I've tried, so friendly that attunement it's practically not a must!), with heroes, I find it the most efficient.

I think that after so many trials w/o passing the 3rd room, out primary objective is to pass this one. In the run we succeed with this, all it will come it will be considered as bonus. Once we are familiar of how we can pass the rooms, then we may focus on what's after this. Besides, we've never seen what's after so, we know that a wipe could happen, and it's Ok as soon as we learn from it and will be avoided next time.

I should try a water ele there, can't think of a good water build right now though

I should try a water ele there, can't think of a good water build right now though It's true, they do take higher (not double tho) damage from wather. However, there are not enough spamable AoE water skills to do enough damage in a short period of time.

I'm thinking tho to change one Hero on water, although in the small areas, there is little chance to run from AoE anyway!
