Lead attacks
ensoriki
We the mercenary's who look better and get payed more than the warrior, the assassin, assassin's follow a chain. A chain of command!
L-O-D has been almost dead, except for some cases in pvp.
In Pve, people wont run it either because skipping to get to your MB DB combo is better.
Few lead's are that great anymore
Black mantis strike- Good for the cripple, and a black Combo starter.
Leaping mantis strike - not that great actually, mantis does it better.
Unsuspecting - One trick pony, than its the pony who won't leave your energy alone.
Dancing daggers: Good Lead attack, strong against casters activation to slow it down. Nice.
Iron palm: Interesting, not to amazing though.
Jagged strike: Bleeding is not that great if you do pathetic damage >.>
Golden Lotus: Not bad, A Free attack if you have an enchant.
Golden Fox: Not bad either, not great, its just average for a skill.
Desperate Strike: Not great, You have to hurt yourself or use an attack thats weaker than Jagged strike unless the condition is met!
Im probably missing 1 or 2.
but the point is out of these, here are the main leads of intrest
Golden Fox strike: Bypasses block
Unsuspecting- one of the original Sin Lead's used even to today (very uncommon though)
Dancing daggers: Better than unsuspecting strike, constant strong damage, 5 energy. Has a 1 second activation however which makes it slow and easier to interrupt. 5 second recharge. 4 second combo's work best with it.
Like DD Wild- Shattering etc.
Black mantis strike: The Black line is always popular and I doubt this 1 is going to die soon.
So out of all the sin lead attacks, 4 are really worth using. The other ones aren't worth it basically.
thats in pvp in pve.
Golden Fox strike
Black mantis
DD
Unsuspecting cost to much energy for the mobs in pve. Black mantis however, you do not generally require cripple in pve.
So the true ones worth using are GFS and DD, but a DD + dagger sin is not very likely in pve.
GFS wins as best lead for pve.
And a good lead for pvp.
IMO
What would you do for lead attacks?

you were banned for spamming weren't you....

Lead attack PvE: Golden Fox Strike. To me, unblockability = yummy.
Lead attack PvP: ...

Not to diss BMT completely though, but then again, when you got access to the Black offhands why bother?
I'm not done with you...

I get that it's slow itself, but the only upside to it is that it negates Blind. Iron Palm gives a KD. A KD! Whaddyamean not too amazing? The only reason people are not running it is because it's impractical to invest in both Deadly Arts and Dagger Mastery (as you have done ). As for standard DA Sins, the ranged aspect of DD is what tipped the balance (but I despise DA Sins to a level you could not begin to understand). Sqube
As far as I'm concerned, if I'm doing L-O-D in PvE, it's Golden Fox Strike. Period. There's nothing else.
For that matter, Wild Strike is my only offhand in PvE. You need quick recharges, that gets through blocks and then strips stances. What else do you need? Jaigoda
An AoE splash dual attack that you can loop indefinitely, maybe?
Issac
I prefer Golden Fox strike. Recharge isn't to long so its good.
Gambit Shinobi
I use Jagged Strike for regular occasions and to spam L-O-D attacks.
I use Sneak Attack (which you forgot to mention) to blind hard-hitting mobs for a perma-blind effect. I use Golden Fox Strike for some extra damage and if I want to kill things faster but the high recharge kinda sucks. I use Golden Phoenix Strike to farm and for extra damage like GFS. Yeah, that's basically all any Sin ever needs for Lead Attacks... cellardweller
My old combo was:
Promise->Black Spider->Death Blossom->Black Lotus->Death Blossom Post nerf I'll probably go with: Promise->Black Spider->Death Blossom->Golden Phoenix->Death Blossom Leads FTL =) Sqube

The offhand with the quickest recharge that isn't repeating striks has a recharge of 4 seconds. Golden Fox Strike has a recharge time of 4 seconds. What's so bad about that? Bowstring Badass

That's like, EXACTLY what he was trying to convey. 'post-nerf'. Wark! Waaarrk!

The lead attacks, nowadays, are about as good as your Engrish. Not very.
Ensoriki man love? ^.....^ Leaping Mantis Sting is my cup of tea. ensoriki
Im used to it being called Strike >.>...since so many sin skills end with strike
And I guess my english does suck, Oh well =P, as long as I don't fail the class. Jaigoda
Considering your builds... I think you've got the worst of both worlds.

What's so bad about that? I got it mixed up with Golden Phoenix recharge. I meant to say GPS had a long recharge. Even so, Golden Fox takes much longer to recharge than Jagged, which I use most of the time. I only use GFS when I want to kill a bit faster and/or if I'm fighting mobs that don't bleed. Sqube
I understand that Golden Fox's recharge is longer than Jagged, but if you're using a lead, you're probably using an offhand. If you're using an offhand, you're limited by its recharge.
So why not just go ahead and bring an attack that has +26 damage (at 12DM)? Unless you've got a warrior equipped with Gash, of course, in which case it makes sense to spread the bleeding to everyone yourself and let him/her Gash away. Saves another skill slot on your warrior's bar for raw damage (Sun & Moon, Galrath, Soldier's, whatever). Splitisoda
Jagged Strike is in fact good, I remember i used an energy management sin build which also packed a decent punch. It went something like...
JaggedStrike>(dont remember melee that hits crit)>Wild Strike>NineTailStrike>Moebius Strike> and Critical Strike Coloneh

Splitisoda, you're thinking of [skill]Malicious Strike[/skill]. And that build is solid for PvE because nothing has a long recharge. Other than that, I don't see what recommends it over MS/DB spam, or just bringing a bunch of duals, one offhand, and Moebius.
