See, there's reading a thread and comprehending a thread. This has nothing to do with tacky armour or weapons which change your combat skill only slightly. I mean, seriously. Even reading the TITLE would give away what this thread is really about. But... you know... reading is grind and you'd like to avoid that!

You forgot mentioning Factions titles which are a real massive grindfest if you want to max the skills efficiency. They could use some kind of improvement. A suggestion I liked was maxing those skills power at rank 6 Kurzick/Luxon.

the NF and EoTN are reasonably maxable, no need to change them.

although those titles need some improvement for people playing more than 1 character, as maxing the titles once is fine but having to repeat all that again starts to become a grind.

It would also make it easier for them to balance the various skills - as they can balance them assuming people have max ranks, and then they just need to make sure that they're still useful, if less attractive, at lower ranks for people who are still working on the titles in question.

This way there is no disadvantage at all for not maxing it once you complete the game, but it also doesnt effect the KOABD title which has been a concern (A small one but hey).
I don't mind if the title effect is left linked to the actual title rather than mission completion - most of them are only really relevant while you're doing things that contribute to gaining the title. On a similar vein, I don't really mind the LB skills being tied to the title, as they're only useful against the specific opponents their for.

I do mind, however, the idea of rocking up to a completely seperate location like the Temple of Ages, and being rejected for, say, only having R3 Norn while the competition has R8+. (That's implying at a different issue, of course, but the principle still stands - if you're not in a title's particular territory, that title shouldn't be a requirement for success.)
