I always add ppl to friend list and never remember who is who.

I'm old and often talk to people who obviously know me but, to my shame, I have forgotten, (or a least thier name).

So Anet, support old people please, (it law in the UK now you know )

What I always wanted to see with the Friends List is the user being able to put in a custom status message instead of the boring "Away", "Do Not Disturb", etc... it's usually around when i'm looking for an HA group, and wish to tell that to everyone on my list without actually spamming it... they'll see it if they are looking for friends to join them..

regardless, additions to the friends list is always a good thing

hate having ppl in my friends list i have no idea why they are there..

It has been suggested several times and every time it gets a /sign flood.

Anet should have added this right from the start and since it is probably one of the easiest additions to make they should still add it.

With a full F list I can not keep track of everyone, everytime I make a friend or help someone from my F list I tell them I will not remember you when you pm me you have to remind me what we did togeather or give me a hint about how I know you.

It gets very bad when you have a full list and remove friends to put more on.

We need a alliance roster as well.
