How much do you spend monthly on games or gaming related activities?

Nothing monthly. I treat myself at Xmas and birthdays, but rarely at any other time.
Not including the net, because I'd be using the service I'm on with or without gaming.

I could probably afford to upgrade the more essential hardware in my box if I wasn't so dead-set on buying excellent input devices instead. Then there are the games, and the time I spend playing them, which adds up quicker than I care to think about. Not many LAN parties anymore, but I do hit one up about once a month on average for the lulz and fraggage. And, as I don't really pay for games much anymore, I have paid my share of hefty dues to Uncle Sam's fat cousin... But I swear, they were all gifts! Honestly, I've never even worn an eyepatch! Dear me. I'm going to go bankrupt at this rate. |
faer, why do you buy so much hardware.....a mouse every 2 months??? wtf dude...gimmie your old stuff

None, too poor to spend cash on games and electronic stuff.
And by the time I'm not poor, I doubt I'll be needing a gaming machine.. so something like what I have now will do, Just got a lot of plans in life.

Well, back before starting GW 27 months ago, I used to spend maybe $70 a month - 1 new title + 2-3 $5-$10 games from the bargain bin, but some months I got 2 new titles.
Since then, I received HL2 as an Xmas present and have purchased HL2 Episode 1 ($20), Dungeon Siege 2 ($20), Dungeon Lords ($10) and the Doom 3 expansion ($5). I kind of want Bioshock but my gaming rig is w2k so I'm SOL there unless I upgrade to XP.
As for GW, there's 2 regular edition Prophs ($100), 1 RE + 1 CE Factions ($120), 2 SE NF ($140), 2 EotN ($80) and 6 char slots ($60).
So, $555 over 27 months comes out to $20 a month.
Wait - upgraded video cards on 2 PCs, so add another $300 - brings it up to $31 a month.
I have bought some new keyboards and mice, which I wouldn't consider specifically gaming-related.

People who voted Nothing, if you bought GWEN, that's something: 40/12 = $3.3333 a month.
I was wondering: Should I count Magic cards in this? Or is this computer gaming only?

                    Hmm, very good question.
I used to spend an average of 150-200 a month. But that was in my good old times i played FPS games online. I smashed my gaming mouses keyboards and even flatscreen TFT and LCD monitors on the ground.
Now i would say a good 15€

I bought eye and nothing since.....and before that I got a slot or so....so if you average it out, about $9/month. I'm a cheap date

The only game I play = GW

Nothing on software I just get them for free most of the time from a friend who works at a Gamestop. Coolest chick ever. If hardware counts, then I guess a few grand.
