I've been playing gw for quite sometime. Have loads of skills(close to skill hunter title on all the campains) and close to finishing/vanquishing most of the campains(finished prophecies). So I pretty much have access to all area's. Most of the time I'm running around with +- 30k, cant seem to save up more than that :$.
Suddenly I have a need to buy obsidian armor. I've never tried farming before, can you guys recommend any places to start of will an Ele, including maybe a link to the skill set to use?

L33tNeMiSiS,
You must be spending alot on something, I just finished vanquishing Tyria and have over 150K gold from salvaging/selling all unneeded items. If you truly are L33t, I would head over to Domain of Anguish and find a group that does all 4 areas in Hard Mode. I haven't been there in awhile (due to vanquishing), but the Searing Flame Ele build use to be popular. Check this link:

1.5 million? Not for a long time. 105 ecto at 5k each is 525k, 105 shards at 2.1k each is 220.5k, around 6k for other materials (estimate, I have no idea) and 75k in actual money is 826.5k. That's about half of what you said. I have looked into these prices briefly as I was considering buying my first FoW set myself.
