Chest weirdness in Cantha.

I've been farming kurzick points and opening chests the last few days now finding 3-5 chests per zone and vanquishing a few. Today I fought through 50-100% of 3-4 zones...I was lucky to find 1-2 chests period each trip, did ALL of alberstone wich i havn't been into since the mission and I got a whole 1 chest, is anyone else having weird chest spawns the last few days? I mean once or twice I chalk it up to bad luck but every zone I did today has had virtually no chests.

I don't know much about chest mechanics but from what you say it seems like a random spawn. You have just been unlucky, just because you didn't get a chest the last zone doesn't mean you will get a lot the next zone. You vanquish maybe 3-4 zones a day, but 3-4 isn't a good number to get data on. Vanquish 50-100 zones then see if you don't get any chest before deciding that the chest spawns have been changed.

Bad luck is my guess.. I'm figuring that 3-4 zones isn't enough to base anything off of - and at that, you mention that 50-100% was completed, and sometimes chests are off in the back of zones and whatnot.

Personally I've noticed no weirdness, I've been vanquishing Cantha all week and I have found tons of locked chests, and just today I completed 3 zones and found tons. Just keep fighting.

well in order to vanquish you have to go through the entire zone, and in general there is 3-5 chests in every zone, so if I've gone over 80% but scanned 95-100% and only seen 1 chest each zone after 10...thats not bad luck thats starting to come off like they just arn't there. Wich I seriously hope not because how the heck are you ever supposed to get treasure hunter or such if chests stop spawning if you open too many.

Though I have noticed this with snowmans lair that you get 5 chests each run at the start, but after a few one vanishes and it starts to be just 4, and in that dungeon there is a very set path, but the first or second chest just vanishes and doesn't show up anywhere near the normal spawning points.

You might just be missing the chests unless you hold alt (or whatever you have it set to) to show all items. I've walked by countless chests in Cantha that I didn't see until I hit alt.

Thats what I'm doing Every time i enter a new part of the map, or just traveling I hit alt and scan.

For some reason in kurzick areas, it's very rare for me to find more than 1 or 2 chests in the same zone... I think the max i've ever seen in a kurzick area is 3. Could just be kurz chests..
