What is the fastest brute force way to earn Norn faction?
AaronSwitchblade
I'm about 11,000 points away from where I need to be to buy Norn Ranger Armour. I've done all the quests, and a bit of farming too, so now I want to ask - what is the fastest way to earn Norn faction?
My current working method is to keep the Asura quest where you fight all the "facets" active (Path to Enlightenment?) then get max Norn bonus in Drakkar, and then fight each of the bosses from that mission, zoning before fighting the last one.
Is this the quickest way?

I believe so, either that or turn in the handbooks

Why not kill the last boss as well? You get what, 250 faction for him? Taking the quest again doesn't take long at all.
Oh, and doing um... somebody mentioned Hunt for the Nornbear, G.O.L.E.M. and A Time For Heroes in HM then turning in the book will get you 3k points. The person who mentioned it said they were doing it in less than 30 mins, so it depends on how good you are the killing destroyers, but it's a less boring way to farm points. Maybe alternate them?

Edit: Nevermind...I didn't know what I was talking about, see malko050987's post below this one.

Though it might be a bug, so I don't know for sure. Nothing mentioned about it in the wiki link I posted though. |

Also add Assault on the Stronghold and Missing Vanguard to the list of fast quests to do with H/H for extra rep. Both are very quick if you skip the extra killing and objectives. They take about 10 mins each.

The "Path to Enlightenment" quest is the best way. Do that zone in HM and leave the facets for last. You get insane points. Also, after you get the bounty dont go back to any of the shrines until you get 100 kills minimum. You get level ups at that point.

You can net a large number of points just by clearing (vanquishing) a Norn area in either NM or HM. The result depends somewhat on what bonuses you get, how soon you get them, and how well you maintain the "kill something within 45sec" type bonuses.

do hm duncan, first time gives 7500 norn points

Beat the game, turn in a completed Handbook to Tyr the Skaald in Gunnar's Hold. That will give you 20,000, plus whatever you got for doing the Norn quests (easily several thousand) will put you within maybe an hour's time of farming for Rank 5 (26,000).

Thanks.
