Little update, yes, we picked Yak's Bend because it it pretty empty and it isn't that bad looking(and newer players have it) :P. Secondly, we may also hold an event Saterday, depending on how many items we have to give out. If we decide to, I'll post it here.

I was just in Yak's Dist. 5 and didn't see any kind of event going on at all. Just normal LFG and things of the sort....

I hope the event goes well for your guild, but am I the only person who has noticed that this is an advertising/recruitment technique?
I'm not particularly opposed to it (some of our members thought about doing something similar when we were smaller). Frankly, I think more guilds should probably do this, since this game lacks any real sense of community (outside of guilds). It'd be nice to have more events for community interaction. So good luck
