So I've been farming the Vaettir for Glacial stones, but I have a tendency to get bored pretty quickly.
I used the Melandru's Resilience toucher build, combined with Dwarven Stability to make a cast of Melandru's last enough for one Vaettir. I can run from Vaettir to Vaettir without waiting for energy regen. xD
But it became boring. I am going to see if it's good in HM, but I heard the place is packed and i'll probably die in a second or so.
So, where else can I find heavy hex/condition enemies that aren't surrounded by damage dealers or do lots of damage themselves? I tried outside of Seeker's Passage for the Storm Kin, but the drops in NM are crap and in HM the devourer pops will kill you.
So, because I love the build and like using it, what else can I solo with it?
Heavy hex/condition areas/enemies?

You'll definitely die to the vaettir in hard mode.
The build works in on the Skales and Mergoles in Kryta in HM, as well as the Wind riders in the the desert.

I tried the wind riders in the desert, but in HM there are too many pops and I get owned I need to look for an area with no pops, I suppose.
Am gonna give Scoundrels a try too

You can actually solo vanquish scoundrels if you're patient. The problem is that the drops really arent that great unless you have a tap into a market for mergoyle skulls and skale fins.
for the wind riders in the desert you have to run past the first group outside of Seeker's Passage and head north... there's a large group with fewer pops.
I tried with the riders outside rata sum and I couldnt make it work, at least not in HM, I cant remember if I tried NM.
I cant remember if there are any other more profitable areas with large groups of mesmers / necros.

I tried outside of Rata Sum, but even in NM, the mobs out-damage your regen, since they're 8 at a time, and there's no way of fighting only one or two.
I'm not really doing this for drops. If all I wanted was cash/drops I could do UW as either a trapper or with the Rt/Mo 330 build. It's just fun to kill stuff that I usually target first in PvE since they're annoying and potentially deadly.
If you started a proph char, you most likely had problems with Wind Riders. That early in the game you had little to no experience with degen, and seeing your health drop quickly was a good reason for panicking. Now I kill them on my own, and it feels good ^_^
Also, there are mobs of Wind Riders in Pockmark flats, iirc. It's just a matter of getting to them.

I tried going north outside of Seeker's passage, had to run from a couple of pops, then I had a clear field. Thanks for the suggestion. I killed about 30 Storm Kin, they never got my health below 75%, even with me spamming touch of agony and wallow's bite.
Drops suck, but for the time/difficulty, it's worth it. They drop lots of Shriveled eyes which are 25 gold each, and I got a gold, a few max purples and lots of blues. Canes, staves and inscribed charms. No gold drops. Made around 2k in 10 mins or so (not including the two highly salvageable items which got me 100 iron), and I was bored through most of it. REALLY easy farm, as long as you manage to dodge the pops on the way.
