The idea is simple - I don't have time to sell items so I sell all of them to you at a lower price determined by you (must be better than merchanting the items) and you sell the items at a normal price. It means you invest some money in items you think you can sell at a higher price and time to sell them. In return you make more money reinvest in more items, etc.
