I've been attempting to do the quest "The Last Day Dawns" now for about 3 hours, but I've not even made it past the frist few groups of charr, let alone made it to the king & taken out the 5 titan groups. This mission is just stupidly hard, it's unbelievable. It's like we have 2 choices - Either do it on normal mode & take a group of me + 3 hench (which are level 6) or do it on hard mode & take a group of me + 3 hench (which are level 20).
Doing it on normal mode is hard enough, so to switch to hard mode just to change the hench from lvl 6 to 20 only for them to still be completely useless & die within seconds, isn't really helpful.
I only have Prophecies so heroes aren't an option & nobody is around who wants to do that quest so I HAVE to take hench.
I've been on Guild Wiki & read up on all the tips for completing the quest but none of them could help me.
I'm a lvl 20 Fire E/Mo by the way.
Does anybody have any ideas for completing this quest as it's extremely frustrating, thanks.

ldd was one of the few quests i really liked in this game. its hard, but not in a retarded way. making a group of 8 make it easier...

i got so many good drops there.. hell im felling like doing it again
edit.. you can always post a party search in guru. im sure ppl will ike doing it in hm.

you dont go in... zone trough areas not town. and all u need is a runner.
idk if it will work in HM though. im sure a good runner can still make it.
might have to see for myself.
and your party revert to 4 becasue your using heros/hench. 8 man group will remain 8 people.

again your best bet is to post a party search in guru. find people that are willing and wanting to do that quest.
edit: i no have clue if heroes will count? might be 2 ppl with 6 heroes also work

if your trying to do it on NM then you can do it with a team of 4. Just use sabs build. No effort at all.
HM might be a different story as i haven't tried it on HM yet.

Only tip I can give you: get yourself a better guild. LDD just can't be done with 3x lvl 6 hench ..

Is there not a good way to do it on Hard Mode because then I get lvl 20 hench & the enemies are only a few levels higher.

few lvls higher with elite skills, faster reduced casting times and faster attack times.
Just isn't feasible with 3 lvl 6 henches. If you get a good monk player and a couple of other lvl 20's, you'd stand a chance. And if you have beaten the lich, you should have enough cash to purchase a few ice skills from Dakk at Ember Light Camp. A capture signet for a water magic elite wouldn't go amiss either. Hope you do beat it mate ali89k

ali89k sorry i didn't realise you didn't have heroes. It is unlikely you'll get a pug for that mission, so like i said before give me a shout in game and i'll come and help. Plus i'll try and rope some guildies/friends in as well. good luck in the mean time anyway

just hire runner.
You + some wammo with decked out heroes + 1 hench, let him run to quest zone from yaks and then he can quit. You will have full power + L12 alesia for lols. Pick Me
