Can anyone tell me how I can go about getting decent lightbringer points? It allowed me to gain the first title but the the Whispers Informants stopped giving me the bounty as did the Sunspear/Vabbian Scout.

For the Sunspear Title your probably have reached the maximum u can reach in Normal Mode. You will have to move onto Hard Mode to max out this title.
For the Lightbringer Title. Traverl to the Chantry Of Secrets, there talk to some guy(cant remember name) and he will give u the LB blessing or sth like that from there on you will be able to get the LB rewards again for normal mode

You can also gain lb/s point fairly quickly by doing runs in a worm. Go to The remains of shalhala and go south to the temple the run takes about 15 minutes depending on your group and you get about 500 ss and 600 lb points. You will have to have 2 quests active to spawn the right monsters though requim for a brain and i cant remember the other one. Hope this helps.

If memory serves it's Show of Force. If you don't have both, there are people leaving from the Remains to do this-just pick up a group and let 'em know you don't have the quests (or if you have one, let them know that you have that one).
Another way is to just do LB is leave from Dzagonur Bastion, pick up the elemental bounty and fight south. This is a good way to get up a low level rank (if you have HM unlocked and need to get lvl3 LB on a char-you can do it in like 5 runs). Once you hit rank 4 LB though, go to the wurms-in fact the grind between 3 and 4 is a little tedious there lol.
