The undead in Kryta = bones and rotten rags = not exploitable
One of Oola's Golems = a machine = not exploitable
Uncharmed pet out in the wild = flesh and blood = exploitable when dead
Charmed pet, domesticated = suddenly not flesh and blood = not exploitable... wait, what?

Please, tell me that this makes perfect sense to you. Go ahead.

I feel sorry for all the people trying to participate in the 1v1 Tourny right now that got booted from it because the update didn't come in right at first, and the timer ticked past the last second while they were downloading it.

Even though I now have ten minutes to blow because my last opponent was one of them...

Ooookay...

The Undead in Kryta = Wait, Undead? Kryta? What?
Oola's Golems = Excuse me? Giant machines created by a short little... Bathumanmutantthing?
Uncharmed Pet = What ever happened to the Humane Society? And what is this "Charming" nonsense?

Yeah, I'm sorry, but that whole concept of logic in a video game just isn't very valid.

I rest my case, you can't explain the pet exploitation change in a reasonable manner.

Maybe because there is no good reason? Someone bitched loudly enough in PvP about pet corpses, that's all there is to it.

ANet's thrown logic out the window already, ever since they screwed up the favor system (why would the gods care more about people killing random shit as a wurm in Hard Mode than about people competing in the Gods' realm for their enjoyment?). I don't think ANet's about to stop for logic now.

What?? GW is supposed to make sense?!?! WTF have you been smoking...

Hit someone with an Axe four times, they're still standing... someone turns around for 3/4 of a second and bam he doesn't have a single scratch left

Make meteors fall from the sky by chanting something for 5 seconds? 1st of all meteor showers are for the most part random, and you'd need to go into space and change a meteor's trajectory to have it intercept your target and hit it, and second of all if a meteor hit someone 100m away you would most likely be dead too...

If everyone dies they magically reappear at these glowing shrines.... tell me how that is realistic? When you die you go to the "underworld", yet you don't, you go there when you're alive, not dead, by paying some phantom a platinum... if you die in there you get booted out back to the living realm...

ANet wants more variety and not you nubs to brainlessly bring your barrageway build everywhere?

Sure I can. I've done it maybe, oh, five or six times so far somewhere around here. I was just pointing out that the "video games have to make sense" argument isn't a very good one (as others are already pointing out while I type this, apparently), and maybe you should find another way to make your point.

But really, go read the Gladiator's Arena forums. You'll understand why the change was needed if you just take the time to do a little research in the right places. It's like reading a book, except, well... The grammar is horrible.

Barrageway? What is this PvP-based obsession with tacking "way" onto everything? It's not a suffix, it's an abbreviation. How is it any different than whatever FotM build you cart around the Battle Isles? Those islands are the biggest pools of stagnation in the entire game.

Oh, but now you'll just lambaste me for being the grammar police, right?

Nobody cares about you being grammar police, but you conveniently didn't think about his response.

No matter what you call it, retards with barrage is what they nerfed (although they buffed the damage on Barrage...). It doesn't matter if I call it barrageway or if you call it "B/P team LF MORE", it all means the same thing. And it's skill-less, brainless and boring as hell. ANet removing those doesn't hurt the game at all.

Sounds like a perfectly apt description of PvP.
