Did ANet Nerf the Abaddon's Gate run and not tell us?

I used to be able to run the final Mission in Nightfall, Abaddon's Gate, and made some money off of it. I left it for about two months, and then went back to it yesterday, and found out I couldn't run it any more!

I tried to check the ANet updates, and didn't find a place where they told us they were nerfing the run. Did I just miss it?

If you are talking about the Reversal of Damage exploit, it no longer works, as of Aug. 16th update.

Also, by the time ANet made the change, so many people were offering it that the price was down to 100g.

They nerfed it and told us all not to tell you.

I find the easiest way to do the mission now is to simply run 2 monks with glyph of lesser energy, one has healer boon the other has LoD, and both have heal party.

There's lots of party-side damage...

Also, run to the very top of the mission area after each round of pwning abbadon, to avoid a quick death (abbadon AoE + Graven Mono's). Should be easy if you do so. This works with intelligent people only ><.

The changed to 2 second casting time LoD? Have you tried running that lately? Does it still work?

Nah u get a para with cautery signet and 1 monk with martyr, plus the 2 monks henchies, and breeze it.

Yeah, that's what I was looking for. I was on vacation at the time, which explains why I missed that ANet update....

I'm actually glad they nerfed this...it needed to be nerfed. It was silly to be able to pay for a someone to run you through the final mission of NF.
