Sorry if this was asked already, but how does buying missing EotN pages work?
I completed the Norn and Ebon Vanguard quests already with a Hero's Handbook in my inventory. I heard that you can pay to fill another book with the missing pages, for double the rewards. How does this work? Do I have to do all those quests again?
Wait, so how does buying missing EotN pages work?

if you dont have the handbook in your inventory while completeing those dungeons/quest , you can go pay 100g for them . but if your starting a new one you need to do it all over , you cant just pay for pages unless you finished then when the books arent in the inventory. and if you dont remeber the book you dont have to redo those dungeons/ quest

If you haven't already done it, don't buy them from the guy.
Get a new book and fill those pages in. Gives you two semi-completed books, rather than one

I've been confused about this as well. The first time I did EoTN I didn't pick up a book until I was about 2/3 of the way done with the campaign, so it's incomplete and I don't feel like re-doing the whole primary quest line. I think I might be out of luck on that one.
Still, I'd be interested to know how the filling in thing works.

ah. I get it.
So all the primary Norn and Ebon Vanguard quests I did with a book in my inventory won't go into a new book unless I redo them, which I really don't feel like doing.
I guess it looks like I have to settle with one complete book, and one only half way (asura + end quests).
Thanks!

When this was first implemented, those who turned in a book prior to the update for only 2500 points got to fill in a second book at the guy without redoing all the missions and turn it in for the new increased amount. But now..it's just to fill in pages that you "did" without the book in inventory.
Which makes me wonder...if you have 3 books in storage, do all the quests once, can you fill in all three books at once by paying? Or does it fill in one book at a time?

It will update the first one in your inventory. The second one in your inventory won't be updated. Already tested the first weekend HM was out.

Just imagine..
4k per completed book
40 books in inventory
160k in around 3 hours!

Yeah it was like that, but they patched it about ten minutes later.
