Why do Paragons Suck ?

Paragons seem to be the most unused character in the game.
Least ammount of builds per any class.
Zero Great builds for PvP

Has everyone just given up on paragon completely or is there some hope for the future of the Para?
Why does no one like them?
your input is greatly appreciated.

Paragons are great. I use paragon hero very often, 2 hero/hench monks + defensive paragon = no accident wipes

Last I heard a well set up Paragon keeps a team alive.

Paragons are overpowered in every aspect of the game. People are just too dumb to figure that out.

Paragons don't suck, buildwiki does.

Watch GvG matches in observer mode. You will see a lot of high end guilds using Paragons. Although not looked for by PUGs, Paragons can be quite powerful in PvE. The turn physical damage dealers into death machines, and they make a Monks job easy.

Don't assume PVX is a good resource.

Open your mind. Paragons are so overpowered. People dont play them or Mesmer's because the don't see HUGE yellow or blue numbers flying off there screen.

People say paragons suck for the same reason they say mesmers suck: They're clueless little sheep who follow what someone else says through "peer pressure".

There is no such thing a a class that sucks.
There is such a thing as people who suck at certain classes.

Paragon, like any other has it's role to play which it excels at.

Well, thats pretty much what i was going to say. Paragon is the most overpowered profession in the game. Even more so in pve than pvp due to there's nothing to fear.

My mesmer pwns paragons in pvp
Or at least i get more that 50% glad points playing other characters.
I would much rather play mesmer than para.

Paragons are still one of the strongest professions in GW, even after multiple nerfs.

Yeah, because Mesmers do something useful in PvE, just like Paragons.

Ya I guess Paragon was designed to be used in HA
Where para's buffs can be utalized by a well put together team of qualified players all on vent/TS.

When it comes to playing with people that dont want to stay in your shout bubble, i guess playing this character can be at most..challenging.

Try bringing a para to RA and see how many losses you get, it is the only character i havent gotten 10 wins with yet.

Guess im not playing it right, or the others around me dont care about my buffs.

Paragons are a hard class to play just like the mesmer. People assume they are bad either because they have never tried the class or are not very good with them.

my paragon has 300 hours around on it....been my fav class since i first made it, ive never once had a problem with it
