Hello, I am Sofi Anguissola, leader of The Black Hand Gang (named for children's mystery novels--not the mafia, and not vampires ) and we have been in existence since May 2005.
The guild is fairly close-knit but we are always on the lookout for new folks to meet. Many of us have become good friends despite living half a world away from one another. We have members all over the U.S. including Hawaii, as well as New Zealand, Canada, and England. Many of us are lucky enough to play with our spouses, friends or other relatives in the guild.
Due to our many time zones, we organize most activities for the weekend; for example, this past weekend we went into the Deep, the previous was Urgoz, and next weekend we'll clear out the Fissure of Woe. During the week, activity level varies greatly from day to day. Our members spend their time farming for new armor, seeking titles, helping one another, trying out builds in RA and TA, and generally just kicking back.
To be honest, we try GvG and HA very infrequently, but when we have, we have fun, laugh at ourselves, get our bums kicked, and that itch is considered scratched for a few more months!
We all understand that people have REAL lives that they must sustain ... in order to play GW as much as we can. We are a very casual guild, Kurzick-aligned with no required faction farming. We have a TS server, and a fully-stocked guild hall.
The ONLY thing we would ever ask of you, hopefully already comes naturally: be nice, respectful, legal, fun, adventurous. Don't be: rude, scornful, spammy, beggy, or needy. It is important that you read and understand the Code of Conduct, to which there is a link in our online membership application before applying.
If you don't see the type of guild you are looking for in the CoC or in the threads on our website then I wish you the best of luck in finding a guild that suits you.
(By the way, thanks very much to GWGuru, we do continue to add cool people to our membership!)
BHG seeking mature, interesting new people
