I noticed in the online store today that there is a new offer; buy GWEN and get another expansion half price.
Now, I appreciate this is to attract people to buy things via the online store if they haven't already done so - but is no-one else who bought GWEN a little jaded? I don't have Nightfall and I'm working in the far east until August, so digital delivery is my only option for buying Guild Wars campaigns.
That's of course in addition to the usual ridiculous price of the online store anyway (29.99GBP, or over 60 dollars per chapter).
I can't say I'm angry, because that'd be foolish - I was an early adopter of GWEN and I suppose I should accept that. Even so, it would be nice if ANET now lowered the price of the previous expansions considering the population of their PvE areas is dwindling, and that added to the introduction of heroes, the game is becoming more and more 1-player.

Translation: they released EotN and realized it didn't sell as expected and now they're lowering price to get hesitant customers to buy it.
I will never understand people who have to get pre-release packs for games that aren't finished one year later.

The online store prices are abit mad, you can get GWEN for £9.99 elsewehere on the net, and NF is £11.99. So it costs cheaper to buy it with all the extras like the manual and mini poster

wrong as GWEN is still full price.
buy GWEN and get an OLDER chapter you missed at half price.
see the difference?
this gets new GW players as you get a full chapter needed for the expansion plus the expansion sale as well.
in the online store with no packing/boxing/burning/shipping costs as well.
remember my saying more to come at the online store earlier?

Personally, I think the deal is Anets way of giving a version of the Platinum edition to the online store.
