Dear reader,
I have finally got my monk to lvl 20 and i am doing some 55ing. i am currently farming at skyward reach with the hydras and also farming the trolls outside of droks. once christmas gets a little closer i am also going to farm Gates of Kryta...my question is are these places good to farm? I know i prolly should farm UW and FoW with a SS or a 600/smite build but right now im just trying to learn the basics of 55ing. Where would some good places to go to farm for golds and any other items of interest.

Personally, if you want the decayed orr emblems for booze or sweets, I would start working on it right now.

are you farming in Hardmode? If so you may want to try farming outside of Begen's Hot Spring as well...it is easily done with a 55 and you can continue on into Cursed lands or whatever its called to the west of there. If you have Nightfall you can try farming outside of zhelon's reach for collassal(spell check) scrimitar's in hard mode that is. If you are just trying to learn etc...just take your time...learn the timing...and you should be good. If you look around this subforum you should find a lot of refrences to 55 monks.

Fahranur, The First City farm in HM. Nice undead and you can even kill the Water Djinns and boss for a chance of a Dervish Elite tome and there is also a warrior boss (undead) which is easil taken down. you need to be mo/d though and use mystic regen and SoA+SH.
im no farmer
in the city there are 2 bosses that are easily dispatched by a monk.The warrior undead and the derv djinn.
The collectable bones can be exchange for ID kits which saves you 100g a pop.
If you are farming the emblems for xmas goodies then bergen or kryta mission are ideal in HM

You can also 55 in HM the minotaurs outside Ice Tooth Cave. 55 Mo/N with SS works MUCH better than Shield of Judgement. It's a shame you can kill the warrior boss which sometimes appears.
