Is there a way to mix dye in Guild Wars and keep it in a container to sell. I know how to mix them but then it asks for you to apply it to a item and I don't want to. I have tried to double click the dye bottle and click on another dye bottle but nothing happens.

Can can anyone help?

no, this mixing-system was available in the beginning of GW

after some major update (don't exactly know which one) it was changed to the 4-Color-Preview-System we use nowadays

you can't mix and keep containers any longer

You can simply sell dye-packs, tho. Like

"WTS Jade dye combo for armor! [blue+green] Perfect camouflage for the Jade Sea"

xD

Not much of a market for dyes, tho, except white and black

YEah, I'd bought a pink dye combo way back in the day which I was waiting to use on my perfect armour. I still had them sitting in storage, in wait when the update came. Turned out the pink was now just purple. Very, very disappointing, and waste of money.

Making pink used to be easy but now red's been slowly climbing in price.

Meh.... 300g isnt that much. I'm no uber extreme player who has a storage full of req 7 eternal blades but 300g isn't really a fortune.

the problem was that they were a waste of money before. there was no way of know that it was actually a nice color or just a red and an orange mixed together.

Oh don't worry, I tried it out before I bought the mix, and I only paid 500g for it. I'm not that worried about how much it cost, since it was pretty minimal, it's just disappointing when you keep something for so long, waiting for the perfect time, and then all your waiting comes to naught...

Red and blue dyes have always been more expensive than the other dyes.
