When there is new update coming for Guildwars it would be great if we could get a warning 24 hour before if possible or at least 12 hours before.

There is a possiblity made by Guildwars to get the Title Legendary Defender of Ascalon in presearing.

But it is only possible by death leveling and that takes usuallly 20 hours so to be able to play you put this on when you go to bed and sleep and if an update comes and logs you out you will not be able to login again beacause you sleep and u can not make it in time.

So that destroys many hours work very often and it takes along time to set up the only good death leveling with 21 charrs.

Actually, updates are usually weekly, or after major skill balancing, every few days. But that's every couple of months, so not a big deal.

However, I think that after 6 hours of idle time or such, you're logged out automatically. So it's not because of a new build or an update. As far as I know, those NEVER log you out. They just bug you to death with "A new build of guild wars is available. Please log out and re-enter" spam xD

there is no problem at all to stay online 20 hours or even more.
But when the update comes it says it will log you out after one hour and so it happens.

i got friends to that have exactly the same problem.
we almost never get disconnects except for when there is updates.
and usually when one update comes there are more updates in the next 2 or 3 days so there is not a month between them always.

infact sometimes they are very frequent.

We did a run through FoW on Friday night and a guildie DC'd with only 30 minutes left in the whole trip. There was stupid update to correct wording in the online store and he was unable to reconnect to our build.

BOOO... shame on anet. We have mis-spelled words, in-accurate skill descriptions, and other minor bugs and they are so worried about a spelling mistake in the store.

All I can say is frustrating!! Anet = King of Irrelevant!

If they log you out automatically thats news to me.
During the special events I stay idle for 12+ hours and I'm still logged in when I come back.

I'd rather a.net fix critical issues immidately then having to give you 12 hours notice to exploit bugs (I know thats not what the OP is complaining about, but still, a.net needs to have freedom to fix their game when they choose).
