too many dungeons ?

while I think gwen is good , dont you think there are too many dungeons. they are on the whole fun and easy to get through but they often involve an impossible last boss, which means the quest goes uncompleted, but the worst thing is they take far too long and I often don't have 2 hours plus to spare doing just one quest
Targuil
I don't think impossible is right word. Sometimes they're hard.

Lemme get this straight? You want LESS content? If you don't wanna do all the dungeons then don't but for some of us there are definately not too many dungeons.
h9dlb
I dont want less content, I just want shorter non dungeon based missions
Painbringer
Bosses in Gwen make you a better player. I love the dungeons 10 is not to much. Frostmaws is a tad long and Shards of Orr is a pain yes but I still like them
Richardt
If anything I want more dungeons!

More dungeons is good. Tons of reskin dungeons is bad....they get boring fast when you see the same rooms over and over again.

I say we need more dungeons with new traps!

In normal mode, dungeons take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour to beat (frostmaw/shards of orr will be closer to the hour mark), with the exception of slavers, which is 2-3 from what I recall. If dungeons take you 2+ hours to beat, then there's something wrong with your build, or you're just dying too much.

dungeons are completely optional, imo i wish a few more were required to complete the game, it would at least give them more room to develope the story of gwen, which i found very lacking. Unfortunately GW is now dying, then very few things left to do really, just title grind. Hopefully more dungeons may be added, mb increase then LMotN track as well.

are you joking me....... less dungeons, NM they are easily hero and henchable with out a hitch, HM the most you need 2-3 players to get threw them (other then 1-2 dungeons)
if anything i would like to see more elite areas that take more then a 2 man team.
(dungeons in gwen not that hard at all, rather they are to easy)

I do agree dungeons are a bit time consuming, but the ones involved in the main storyline are not hard and do not take two hours to get through. The only dungeons that take that amount of time are the optional dungeons that you don't even have to complete. If you've having trouble with those I suggest you check the wiki for tips or stop by here and ask.

People seem to forget that dungeons can take quite a bit of time when you go through them the first time in Normal Mode, eg the map for Level 1 of Darkrime Delves is pretty confusing. Its only on my second or third time through that I could get them down to the thirty minute mark.
The bosses are not impossible, even in HM. Sometimes they might require a specific strategy but they usually don't need a specific build, any decent build will do. Pain inverter will bring most of them down. If you can't or won't use that, then provided you haven't accumulated heavy dp you can attack them as normal, most of them can be beaten by just giving them a series of quick kickings.
I think the number and range of difficulty of dungeons is just right. I would like them all to start from outposts though.

lol- there's a complaint for every party. Too many think GW:EN is too short. I guess I expected a "too long" sooner or later.
On topic. Many dungeons do become quicker once you get the lay of the land, just like the handbook quests. As for the bosses, one trip to the Sepulchre taught me to always get advice/check wiki first. Two hours + 2 second party wipe from that boss = very disgruntled party.

I don't know why you're complaining, no ones forcing you to finish all of them. Just do the ones you have fun doing. Personally eotn is my favorite chapter.

My biggest gripe, on the plus side if they ever decide to add any new GW:EN content it shouldn't take much effort besides copy + paste.

WTB more Zelda styled dungeons =D

Or, like me, you do not check the Wiki for your first time through and tend to both take your time and explore the place (none of the hench or heroes have complained about my pace yet). It can easily take 2+ hours for a medium size dungeon. If you are doing "dungeon runs" where you are basically farming the end chest and know where you are going then yes you are correct. Both are quite valid methods of play.
Though I also can't figure out why you would want *less* content. Between the three games + expansion there is nearly always something somewhere to do in whatever length of time you have available. The Dungeon crawls are fun and I would rather see some larger ones akin the Slaver's Exile where you can do it in chunks. The smaller ones were not near as interesting and felt more like areas put in for people to farm (not that it is bad that they did this, it sure beats the heck out of some other farming methods in terms of fun).

you really want lesser content because you fail to play the game?
