How do they work? what makes em only 130 hp? what build(s) do they use?

130 dervs are a bad variation on 55 monks
55 monks lower their health to 55 using 5 superior runes and a -50hp offhand. they can then protect themselves with prot spirit and heal with regen skills. when you only take 5 damage per hit, its pretty simple to tank many creatures.

The build isn't bad..it's just 55 is better
It's a nice alternative if you don't have access to a monk and can farm quite a few areas.
And the derv can get their health to 58 by dying once.

Even though coloneh thinks freaking EVERYTHING is bad I have to agree on this one... You'd be better of making a new monk instead of using the 130hp build...

Or just make the 80HP dervish, with SoJ. But I guess it's just a waste of potential ...

Well not everyone has a monk to 55 with next best thing similar to that is 130 derv.

no. the next best thing is any other caster running a 55 build, or an assasin. then comes a billion other farming builds. 130 is somewhere way at the bottom of the list.

Ok fine but you have to admit that not everyone is going to have the slots available for those types of characters if they are already dedicated to other characters. And if someone is interested in farming with their Derv with a 130 hp build (Like the OP)then what is the point of being so negative about it.
