Hello! I am fairly new to the GW scene. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have been running a healing prayers spec the last couple months. I am slowly but surely realizing that this spec is not right for 'the job.'

The job is PvP... I am a pvp-aholic and would appreciate any input you'all can give me.. I have read all the guides multiple times...

Do you all think I should start learning a bond build? I have become extremely proficient with my healing prayers/prot build...

Let me know! Thanks!

Hmm... Take a look at the sticky, it gives you a good idea on what to do in pvp.

My advice: stay with a hybrid (healing/prot), it gives you more experience than running a bond monk in RA/AB. It might be harder, but it will teach you more about playing a pvp monk. Learn when to use certain skills on certain people. Keep an eye on positioning. When you get positioning down, you can work on weapon swapping.

From my own experiences, running a Bonding build was a joke in RA, until you come across a build with enchant removal. Didn't learn anything from it though. I don't play in RA much anymore either, and if I do, I don't monk anymore.

EDIT: what do you need help with?

EDIT2: Build for mo/w

RoF, Guardian, WoH, Dismiss, holy veil/remove hex, spiritbond, disciplined stance, shield bash.

RoF, Guardian, WoH, Dismiss, holy veil/remove hex, spiritbond, disciplined stance, shield bash. hey! i guess that answered my question. i was thinking more build related... i have already begun to teach myself weapon swapping...

i got kicked out of an AB group after pinging my build yesterday... even though i usually get very good compliments for my healing, that made me think...

thanks for your help...
