Favorite Class

Heya. I've been playing and Ele from most of my GW game and enjoyed it allot. I also have a monk that's level 20 but havn't really played with him. I'm considering making a Dervish or a Assassin. So, to help make up my mind I would like to find out what are your favorite Classes? Not in particular whether I should pick Dervish or Assassin, just, what char do you enjoy playing most. Would have been great if we could have a poll :P

My main character is an Assassin, followed by my original Ele. Lately I've picked up Dervish and I enjoy playing him a lot too.
Consider what you want to really do with your character. Sins are pretty specific... I've got a great farming build for mine but it's tedious (though ridiculously consistent) at best. Dervish is more broad than Assassin, but they're very similar in certain regards.
Also, I've always found Elementalist to be the absolutely most diverse profession. Farming, PvE, PvP, anything really.

My main is also an Assassin. it only took me about a million exp to finaly get the hang of playing an assassin, i just have so much fun now, 1400 deaths and counting^^
i gave my dervish daggers.. thats how much i love my assassin.
Assassins are hard to get the hang of, you are only a little better than a squishy on the front lines. for playing in pve, i'd highly sugjust using critical agility and critical defences in your build.. and mobiius strike Deathblossom spam.

My main is a Dervish and I enjoy playing on him the most. I have a sin, but I find it boring tbh...
So far the classes I prefer are monks and dervishes. The world need more canthan minimonks! ^^

Rangers FTW, now and forever.
That said, playing a Rt is fun, my Perma-pre Mesmer is always good for a nice relaxing game, and my monk is getting some attention these days as well. The monk also comes with pug-hate, though. >.<

Ele, Monk, Necro are my three favourite, but i'll always have a soft spot for my Mesmer, because she was my first.
Crom The Pale
First and favorite is War.
Number 2 was Ranger for almost 2years but then I made a Rit and fell in love with it. Still like the war better but rit is a great caster class.
As for Assassin vs Dervish, the dervish is a better PvE class and the sin better in PvP.

Drage
My ranger is my main, i love their armors, bows and pets. For me the ranger is the best class of survivle, they can do lots of damage and can also take lots of damage(whirl defense etc...)

Necromancer and Ranger are my favorites. I've found the N/R combo to fit my play style best. Both professions provide a balanced selection of offensive and defensive skills.

Assassin is definitely my favorite, although it did take quite awhile before I got a good build and started to understand how to use it.
Warrior is my only other character and I like it a lot. Just got to Drok's with it (no run, doing the missions).
I'm about to make a Ranger in NF. I've beaten NF and Factions but I beat NF with my Assassin.

My main is Warrior and I love my warrior. As for Sin v Derv (I have both) and I find Dervs much better and they're easier to play with.

Mine has to be a necro, because there's so many combinations that you can do to either do massive dmg (SS,SV), over whelm the enemy (MM), or just protect the team.

ranger, warrior, and sin. r and w are very fun and versatile, while the sin, once you get used to the playstyle, can be great for farming, PvP, and much more. if you love a challenge, try an assassin. they take a while to master, but are INCREDIBLY fun to play

My most favourite class are, first my Monk, then Ranger and then Warrior. I'm monking my way through NF at the moment and having alot of fun trying to keep the party alive. 
Between a Dervish or an Assassin, I found the Assassin much more fun and challenging to play.

My favourite is the mesmer. They have their own set of difficulties in the PvE environment, but I've found it to be a very enjoyable profession to work with.

I've been playing Ele mainly it seems like the dervish might be fun because of also the wide variety of skills(from what I read). But then again I also really like the idea of an assasin shadow stepping to a foe spiking a bunch of damage then shadowstepping to the next foe or shadow stepping back. Thz for all the insights so far they've been great help ^-^, keep them coming..
