Realm of the Gods (Final Expansion, Free)
Kai Nui
I say that they give us one final expansion similar to how they added Sorrow's Furnace for free. We have the Underworld and the Fissure of Woe, so lets finish it out by creating the final realms and maybe link them somehow to GW2.
Using the existing skills and classes along with existing lore, it would be a good change to see Lyssa's realm filled with tough mesmers and assassins, Melandru's realm filled with rangers, dervishes, and Ritualists, Dwayna's realm filled with Monks, Paragons, and Dervishes, of course they'd have other things too, but it'd be a good addition to end off guild wars with 3 explorable zones accessible to everyone.
Everyone's free to suggest what they'd like to see within these realms and what to call them and the reason for being allowed entry. I'll give some of my suggestions later on and try to make this something everyone wants without it taking out too much resources on the guild wars team.

I think this would be a great idea. One realm every 3 or 4 months, to keep us interested until GW2 hits the shelves.
Exhonour
can nightfall come free with that also?
sry they wouldnt ever agree on free, they already gave us a free game, theya re basically saying "dont touch us now, u got what u wanted", plus u dont know how the financial thing is going on there so u dont know and they are working on gw2, probably busy

I think you should give me all your possessions, for free.
I think this is a great idea because I want it.

I think I have a solution. Arenanet Comes out with a new expansion every couple of months that include the realms. All they have to do is sell a cd key for like 5-10 dollars each. That'll keep our interest and we're not really paying that much for more realms. It completes the realms and it keeps in with their budget.
CyberMesh0
Not free, but it would be fun to have the three other realms to complete the ensemble.

Given what we pay vs. what we get, I think Anet does more than enough for us already.

I'd be happy to pay for it in the online store, but asking a company just to give you content that has to be developed, for free, because you want it, is insulting.

what is wrong with them adding random new content to the already existing games? But the main factor for this is to add it if THEY want to instead of if WE want it.
Noone knew that SF was being implemented until they announced it, so that was a FREE addition to the game, and the decision was made completely on their part. Noone was nagging for it to be added.
It's called an "update" and according to your logic, games would never see new content that is user requested...strange how they do.

They gave us SF free, DoA free.. Why not The Realm of Gods!
Good idea, I support!

They added SF for free, and I never heard a single "that took too much resources and we will never do it again" |

You're assuming that the other Realms of the Gods are in crisis or have some other kind of conflict or disaster.
Balthazar and Menzies are going at it, and so are Grenth and Dhuum.
I haven't heard of any other such conflicts in the other realms. Have you?

well they cant take away gw2 devs for a gw1 expansion but they could hire more gw1 devs to give us another expansion then when its finished move them up to gw2 devs.

SF was free because it was the holdover until Factions came out (which was delayed by a couple of months from their original "expansion every 6 months" spiel).
DoA was free because it was the elite area of Nightfall; it's part of the campaign, just like the Deep and Urgoz are part of Factions.
None of the stuff you buy in the online store - including every chapter, expansion, and upgrade - comes with a box or CD. It's all handled electronically. Does that mean is should be free?

It is merely in-game content, that is all, there is no box, there is no CD. |

They could do something like you can only get the free access to it if you purchase all the expansions and the Bonus Pack.
Sorta like how the Bonus Pack game with ordering EotN in the online store, it was essentially free but you had to buy something else to get it.

Here's an idea if you guys want realm of the gods so freakin badly why don't you go down to ArenaNet hq, get the scripting gw is programmed in, and write up the freakin realms yourself then submit it to ArenaNet for them to add? Otherwise you're just asking for free bonus features that would cost them a lot more time and money, and since none of us (that's right no one here is really paying much to them anymore) are really paying anything past buying the game I think it would be polite if you stop requesting things that are free because everyone knows none of us here at GwGurur have done much to deserve it seeing as most of what we do is nag them for more stuff and give them more work!
Put simply: If you want the freakin realms so bad go program them yourself and see how easy it is for such crack programmers like you (I might be able to do it if I had about four months per 30 lines of programming :P but I'm also not claiming I deserve something costly for free)

Wouldnt have to be free. I agree with others that these areas, if done well, I'd buy in the online store. I'd love it, personally.
Darkhell153
*Yes But too many people are asking for it free, and it's not right to*
Toutatis
If ANet does decide to give us any more major content, I would not expect it to be free. I wouldn't want it to be free either.
To give us free content at this point means taking money out of the GW2 budget. The quality of GW2 shouldn't be forced to suffer just because some people want more content for GW1.

This is easier said than done, if they do, I'm sure they will do what they did with the BMP. Perhaps, costing $10 per area you wish to obtain, but it'd be core areas too that will be unlocked at the ToA, CoS, and the place in factions..haha, forgot the name.
Tender Wolf
I like this idea but I really doubt it would be free. I like the idea of no CD or whatever, just like a $5-10 key to add it. That would make more sense in my opinion.
