Black Dye

I think I missed something, I have my 15k war shit dyed black and I've noticed it's significantly duller than a lot of others running around now. No, it's nothing with my gamma etc.

I'm assuming something was changed with the dye? Or maybe it's a mix?

Some armors dye darker than others. Metal armors vs Hide armors for instance.

I guess I should have been clearer.

Others 15k war shit is dyed black, and the black is blacker than mine.

Side note: I dyed mine like a year and a half ago, so I'm assuming there was a change in the way it dyes?

Anet changed the dye system when NF came out. But you cant tell me you only noticed this now or?

I've also noticed that your character's armor tends to be rendered w/ a bit more detail than other players' armor, at least in certain areas. Perhaps it's that...

Wow where have you been, there was a dye update like.. Ages ago.

the blck dye u hav on right now is the older version which is lighter now they updates the blck dye so its darker

yeah, it was way back like when NF was released when grey and white dyes were introduced. Sucked to see that my black monk armours were closer to the grey than the new black. Still, there was a lot of improvement with the new colours. If you want your colours to be more vibrant it'll have to be redyed I'm afraid.

actually they have changed black dye a few times around just before GWEN i noticed black dye was a little green then about 1 or 2 months later they made it a dull black. Wasn't my brightness or anything that was the first thing i checked.

Warrior Primeval Armor was changed to have a glossy moss look, which ruined it for me. I had beautiful black dyed Primeval, then it turned into a moss color. Salvaged.

Assassin armor and black dye has had significant change over the months. Some getting lighter, while others have gotten darker. I believe Mesmer clothing has been changed to be even 'blackier.'
