First of all you might want to do your extra 30 attribute quests. Link Here.

Then try something like this.

W/Any
Sword=12+1+1
Strength=8+1
Any attribute for optional skill=10+X

[skill]flail[/skill][skill]sever artery[/skill][skill]gash[/skill][skill]dragon slash[/skill][skill]"for great justice!"[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Then you got two optional slots for skills such as Conjures, Mending Touch, Healing Signet, Lions Comfort, "Watch Yourself!". "Save Yourselves!" "There's Nothing to fear!", or different resurrection skills.

Suggest throwing a +30 fortitude mod on the sword, and any hilt you want really, as it doesn't really make much difference with your particular build.

Thats about all anyone can tell you, enjoy.

Get the Swordsmanship to at least 14. Warrior's with weapon mastery<14 do no damage and so therefore suck.

You can go as W/P and take enduring harmony, which makes FGJ last 30 seconds. The best skill to take (If you have EOTN) is Brawling Headbutt, one use of dragon slash and its charged, while under the effects of FGJ you can spam both dragon slash and brawling headbutt which means constant knockdown (works both as a snare in pve and as an interupt, it also stops hm boss eles from deleaing obscene amounts of damage). Steelfang slash works well in sync with this as if foe is knocked down you gain an extra +4 adren, which if FGJ is up could probably recharge dragon slash, again.

Youd probably want to mod up your sword though, if you decide to go conjure take Icy/Shocking/ Fiery hilt and if you dont wanna go conjure take 20/20 sundering sword hilt (if you cant afford that buy a 20/19 which can cost 1-2k). a +30hp mod also helps (if you cant afford that get a +29hp pommel for about 1-2k).

Hope this helps,
Qdq.

This skill is also a fun addition to your skill bar:

[skill]Distracting Blow[/skill], or if you can spare the energy: [skill]Savage Slash[/skill]

I'm not gonna turn this into a Vamp/Sundering debate, but I'm gonna say this - Sundering swords are always bad.
The sundercrits are pathetic, and not worth it. Go vamp/elemental/crippling for sword.

i'm not into Gash, and Sever Artery... I do have For Great Justice on the skill bar, just forgot to put it on

I'm planning on getting Enduring Harmony, but is it really that good?

I am buying the Sundering/Fortitude mods later today

I do have DBlow on my bar 2

I'm also planning on putting in Lion's Comfort later today..

is there any /A skills I could use for General PvE?

[skill]Disrupting Dagger[/skill] can be used as an interrupt (replacing Dblow).

[skill]Flail[/skill] is really, really good and should probably be on your bar.

I would probably use this bar as a W/P:
[skill]Dragon Slash[/skill][skill]Brawling Headbutt[/skill][skill]"Save Yourselves!"[/skill][skill]Flail[/skill][skill]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Enduring Harmony[/skill][skill]Sunspear Rebirth Signet[/skill]

Disrupting Dagger?! Wouldnt Distracting Blow be better? with distracting blow you get the same recharge as Disrupting Dagger, also its the same energy cost. Yes Disrupting Dagger deals more damage, but with Disrupting Blow you could use a more viable secondary.

dont forget that disrupting dagger is ranged. but /P would probably be better.

Distracting Dagger is ranged and 1/4s instead of 1/2s. That said, dblow is adjacent aoe around the target (which is really funny against PvE caster balls like Ice Imps, Bog Skales, etc.). Freeing up the secondary is a good consideration, but I think the only secondary you see with any real frequency is /Mo for Mending Touch, which is only necessary in areas with heavy blinds and whatnot (not all that common outside of roflcopter areas like Shards).

As Savio reminded me in the other thread, you can run Dslash + Brawling Headbutt + Steelfang Slash for infinite KD chain and ridiculous adrenal engine. As with most dslash builds though, the whole pain train derails if there's any blocking.

Also, "Save Yourself!" should really be on any dslash bar unless you have no Kurzick/Luxon rank to speak of.

Savage Slash is now the same Energy as DBlow. Don't tell Savio sundering is bad.

For pve though, I'd use Power return over both of them.

Assassin is an okay secondary to split into, though in PvE /P for FGJ and PvP /E for Shock or /Mo for Mending Touch are probably better secondaries.

my build already does that though. I just cast FGJ!+Flail, and in 5 hits, I get DS, and I can hitting with DS for about 15 seconds.

Btw.. 2 hits under FGJ and Flail should be recharged... 15 seconds of Dspamming is too low... should be 18-20.

The reason you bring EH is for more SY. If you don't have SY, you bring a Conjure as it does more damage than an extra 10 seconds of Dslashing.

Hello. I seem to remember having seen a while ago a build for what was called the "God Mode" warrior (sword). I do remember the build had "Save Yourselves!" but I do not remember the others.. any idea or suggestions?

[skill]dragon slash[/skill][skill]"for great justice!"[/skill][skill]enduring harmony[/skill][skill]flail[/skill][skill]enraging charge[/skill] ... then "Save Yourselves!" "There's nothing to fear!" Brawling Headbutt

Or [skill]steelfang slash[/skill] over "TNTF!"

Sunspear Rebirth Sig. This guy doesn't think before posting.. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

He didn't use all his attributes. You should have:
Swordsmanship --> 12+1+1
Tactics --> 10+1
Strength --> 8+1

Not only are the skills he is using bad, he only has 7 skills on his entire bar. Try using this build:

[skill]Sever Artery[/skill][skill]gash[/skill][skill]dragon slash[/skill][skill]sun and moon slash[/skill][skill]flail[/skill][skill]enraging charge[/skill]["Save Yourselves!"][skill]death pact signet[/skill]

The original build had an optional slot but had no list of what skills could be chosen to go in there. Judging by the rest of the post, I'm just going to assume you normally put IWAY in that skill slot because you are baed...

And what was the point of posting your sword. Were we honestly supposed to critique it??? Well, I guess i will...
Get a sword that is req 9 or less. Put a health +30 mod on it. Put a 3/1 vamp mod on it so you get the highest DPS possible with the sword.

Forum moderators, feel free to Close this thread on account that the OP simply didn't think AT ALL before creating it.

EDIT: Don't start a thread with "Hey ya'll!" It makes you sound like a dumb hillbilly.

Why do people insists on going nuclear on someone who posts a thread asking for help.

Someone so perfect as yourself should be able to create a skillbar with bb code no problem.

Maybe no one has told you, but dragon slash isn't the end all be all of all swordsmanship builds.

I just get upset when people ask questions without giving an effort to figure it out themselves first. Obviously the OP did not try to make a good skill bar before asking about it. I think a little effort is a reasonable thing to ask for, don't you?

By the way, you can't do the skill cards for anything post-nightfall so...

In PvE, it is actually the best elite for sword warrior in general mission/quest play. In PvP I would say that D-slash is pretty pathetic because of the block-way meta. Of course, you would know that I feel this way already if you actually took the time to read some of the other warrior threads that I posted on explaining this very topic.

I am a strong believe in the fact that, if you want to be taken seriously, than you should try your best to present yourself in an educated manner. If you say certain things or act in a certain way, people will perceive you in that way. That is just my two cents on the subject.

Brian, stop with the holier-than-thou crap.

His build is better than alot of people I see, and at least he's asking for help with it. He obviously made an effort to create a good bar, because he put in FGJ! and DS, as well as an IAS, self-heal, and party buff. The rest is fluff...he should put in a little more utility but hey...it's a start. Besides, utility changes from one area to the next.

the way he talks is the way he talks. Don't discriminate on people because they dont talk the way you do. At least he used proper spelling and punctuation...better than alot of other users of this forum.

In a nutshell: this is a GAME. People can play it any way they want. if they recently obtained something they're proud of...don't go off on them because it's not ideal to you. They like it, that's their perogative.

To the OP: that build can and will be shut down by anything that can block. But most melee builds are that way. Only a few sin builds and crappy war skills have the ability to beat a block stance effectively. Get a secondary for some kind of buff..such as rit for wailing/warmonger's weapon, monk for condition removal, or ele for added damage/blind/KD.
