mimer in orchard mission
torsken
why is he so hard? i can do 6 -7 in a row but not 10>_< any tips? it would be a great help and yes i have checked wiki
I D E L E T E D I
For me its luck based, i continue until he does an easzysequence xD
Caged Fury
I've done this mission with 4 characters now and never had any difficulties with it. I just zoom in so I can see him clearly and be quick on recognising the emote and the typing. I believe I've had it easy though, because each time I've faced him he seem to just repeat 3-4 emotes (e.g. point, shoo, flute and boo). Actually, I found Mad King Thorn to be more challenging than Lumo.

maybe if i start a ranger just to see which emote is which?

I had trouble recognizing the emotes as well. I got lucky with a simple sequence. It's like farming drops, do it until you succeed

I also hate that mime - too many emotes to remember. As has been said, I just repeat it over and over until I get a sequence wherein I know all the emotes. There are a few emotes I never can remember what they are 9even on my ranger), I *hate* seeing them on that part. He definitely has more than four emotes to choose from.
If your issue is typing the emotes in fast enough, not much we can tell you other than take a typing class and practice more. There may be some type of macro stuff out there but be very careful in using it as they would be "third party programs" and capable of banning you. While I would guess they wouldn't for simple emotes, I can't tell you to go try it.

On of the hardest emotes to recognize is the /pickme command. You can easily mistake it for /cheer or something.
Starting a ranger is a good option, or ask a guildie to do the emotes.

One other suggestion is to go to the wiki and search under Emotes to bring up the full list. You can then check out any unfamiliar ones.

What I personaly do to make it easier is step right in front of him, and go into first person view, that way I can an easy and close up view of the emotes.
From there most of the emotes are easy to recognize. Only some of them are tricky.
So base on luck and having a fast eye....takes me 1-3 tries

the pickme always "killed" me the first times. But apart from that it shouldn't be too hard.
Use emotes all the way in normaly game as well! It's more fun that way!

If you have the box games, you get the quick reference chart with a whole list of emotes.
I always have that in front of me when I do this, cos I always forget what emotes are available.

Don't be inexperienced? Seriously it is quite easy.

Frankly, I've never had trouble with him. Only times I've lost is when I just wasn't paying attention.

never ever ever even think of using another program like the one suggested that is bad advice

Think about it, this is an almost free Masters. And you CAN continue the story without doing the Mime bit, come back later to get the Masters.
I'd rather repeat the miming, than repeated attempt Dzagonur, Jennur or Sebelkeh Masters.
