Favorite Underused skill
smilingscar
I think my favorite underused skill is [card]Ether Lord[/card]. It's the only skill that essentially steals energy from a foe, but doesn't require them to have energy to be effective.
I think most peoply find it too unwieldly, but it has helped my mesmer score a respectable number of victories in RA (I tend to shy away from more organized pvp). I like to wait until I'm down to about ten energy, then I'll hit [skill=text]Echo[/skill] and then ether lord whoever I think deserves it, and then two seconds later I'll ether lord someone else. Plus, I can get both copies off twice before echo ends.
It makes bonders frantic, and it's a perfect throw on that sin/ranger/derv/shock warrior I just spirit shackled to keep them at zero energy.
I would give a second vote for echo, but I think that gets plenty of use.

Could you post a build for using it in or some skills that go well with it.
A explanation of how to use it properly/effectively would help.
TY just use it with enchantments you would want to extend, or end. My mysticism is at 12 90% of the time, and with an enchanting mod it lasts about 20 seconds, so you can make 10 sec enchantments to 20 seconds. I love it with healing hands but others have frowned upon this. It works great with Vow of silence, excellent for running because it can remove fleeting stability. the only two problems are surviving when your enchantments end, make sure you have enough health that you wont get destroyed right away when all your enchantments end; the other problem is your energy, its costs alot to load up a bunch of enchantments at the same time, and when they all end at the same time mysticism will probably fill your bar which is a waste of energy. its not perfect, but its pretty useful.

I quite like:
[skill]Hundred Blades[/skill]
and
[skill]Dwarven Battle Stance[/skill]
They both get quite a bit of stick but I enjoy using them.

~A Leprechaun~ Actually, 100 B's is not bad if coupled with a conjure (element). Works well in PvE and even PvP (sometimes).

+20 is to much for a base. scale it with swordsmanship +5...+20.

Lol, yeah I know its not bad but post a build with it in the warrior forum and you will get savaged. So I just reasoned that it was underused.

[card]Locust's Fury[/card]
Locust + an IAS just makes you go "omfg look at pretty numbers"
to bad auto attacks generally suck (unless you crit for all of them)

Seef II
Twin Moon Sweep, pretty nice in a PvE physical-way build.

I say Vile Touch is the most underused skill.
10 energy for crappy damage onto a single target... yeah... no one likes that.

Necrosis. (Sunspear skill)
90 damage, 5 energy, 2sec recharge.

C2K
My favorite skill
[skill]Decapitate[/skill]
Yeah, Eviscerate is by far better, but nothing relieves stress like decapitating your enemies.

Agreed. you can run bow builds on stuff like warriors and paragons, as well as not spending points in expertise (kinda dumb, love the stances in there).
but i see potential on the warrior, with the strength-based IAS skills as well as the armour penetration provided by str too.
but you're prolly better off running meleee in the end anyways :/

let's just say double dragon Has it's uses, you merely need to be creative, and the fact that hardly any does use it only shows that anyone who can't think of a good use for it thinks it's bad, and therefore underestimates it's uses

Quarter-breaking a monk's rof with this skill in RA is just about the most fun you can have with a warrior.
