What makes a successful dervish in PvP? I've had no end of fun with my beloved dervish in PvE - but when it comes to PvP i feel almost useless, no matter what build i have tried thus far i just seem to have no luck.
Granted, the only PvP i have tried to do is RA - i find myself endlessly frustrated by constant blocks, how do you get around that? It feels as if (I know monks skills i.e. Aegis, and elementalist WaM) almost all classes block way more than is neccessary!
I sometimes, if lucky with the melandru build get a nice spike in a chain, SOMETIMES, and so far it really doesnt feel like its often. I have the majority of the Dervish elite skills, and am just wanting some general advice on how to progress.
I feel useless, i dont heal, i dont interrupt, i dont spike particularly well, what am i doing wrong?
Thanks for reading and i look forward to your advice, it is much appreciated.
What am i doing wrong?

If you're being blocked a lot, consider going D/W and using [wiki]Wild Blow[/wiki] - that cannot be blocked and will remove a blocking stance. If it's an enchantment that's blocking you, consider taking enchantment removal, such as Rending Touch or the like.
I love Avatar of Lyssa and Wounding Strike as elites for PvP. Lyssa makes for great spiking, whilst Wounding Strike is spammable deep wound which is always sexy.
I use a build such as this:
[skill]Avatar of Lyssa[/skill][skill]Heart of Fury[/skill][skill]Mystic Vigor[/skill][skill]Mirage Cloak[/skill] [wiki]Crippling Victory[/wiki] [wiki]Radiant Scythe[/wiki] [skill]Mystic Sweep[/skill][skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill]
You could easily switch out Crippling Victory / Radiant Scythe for Wild Blow and Mystic Vigor / Mirage Cloak for an enchantment removal of your choice so that most sources of blocking can be countered.
That build has served me well in AB...with 12 + 1 + 2 Mysticism, 12 + 1 Scythe Mastery and 3 + 4 Earth Prayers (Mirage Cloak doesn't need any investment in Earth Prayers in order to block attacks - I like Mirage Clock as an Anti-Assassin skill). Eremite's Attack and Mystic Sweep are very quick activating attacks so, with Heart of Fury, they activate very fast, and of course, the faster you can hit someone, the more chance you have of hitting them when they use a skill, so Lyssa's +damage effect will be triggered more often.
Perhaps post your build for us to see and we could help you improve it?

Wild blow gets rid of those annoying block stances. Switch to non-enchanted targets often.
