Question about values

On the wiki it says sword inscriptions can only reach +5 armor vs. elemental/physical damage, yet I have two that are +6. Are these oddities or is the wiki page wrong and either way, how much value do they add?

Inscriptions for focus are +5 vs phys/ele

Upgrades for axes for example are max +7 vs phys/ele they are worth ~1-2k max
