Never got the chance to pick it up though. The PUG I was in thought it would be much nicer to RUSH through the portal. Besides I am the only one to blame for not rushing to pick it up after it dropped and thinking that we might as we'll kill the rest of the team first first!

Deeproot's Sorrow and i still use it sometimes. I mostly use greens now because i find them faster and cheaper to get than building a new item with mods and inscriptions. But if there's no green for what i need, i go get it from a collector and find the mods/inscriptions i want.

Ahh man, I remember it so clear mine was Bortak's Bone Claw. When I got it I was all "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG" and then a guildie told me that is was worth a bajillion gold (exageration) and then I was all /cream myself. Went straight to droks and got 60k, was the best time in game ever.
(This took place in my noobie days when the most I had ever seen was 10k that most of was lent to me to just craft Droks armor now when all I have is 60k I cry lots)

My first ones were some from Grenth's Footprint - Bludgeoner, Flint's Wand, etc. My very first one from inside the Furnace was a Malinon's Shield; I didn't much like the skin so I gave it to a guildie I played a lot with who'd been very helpful to me. My second one inside was Drago's Flat iirc.

Lian's Lantern dropped for my first character on my first time through the Canthan mainland. Perfect for my fire Ele too, so I used it until I switched over to staves.

I can't remember what my first green drop was, it was most likely Kole's Torment, not long after the new weapons had been released, i wish i'd sold it at the time, it was going for 60k in tombs

I never had much luck in SF - I never got the greens, it was always someone else. IIRC my first green drop was when ToPK became a PvE area, and I got two at once - hammer (Victo's Maul?) and one of Milius' items, that I promptly traded with guildies. I still have Victo's Blade & Bulwark and Elswyth's Recurve Bow from that weekend.
