Tormented Bows: Recurve or Long?

Been thinking about getting a tormented bow, but I can't decide on which skin I like more. Just curious about what skin everyone else thinks, both skins are pretty cool imo so it's a tough decision. Anyone care to be a tiebreaker?

depends if you do pvp or not. if you do, your primary weapon will the be recurve bow, so get that.
if you don't pvp with your ranger, then it really doesn't matter too much.

Yeah, I'd agree.
Mines the shortbow version though - I find it the best in PvE.

probably shoulda mentioned, the bow type really doesn't matter. I have every type of bow for different situations, this will just replace one in the rotation. My choice just comes down to appearance really.

Personally I think the Longbow skin looks vastly better. Sucks that my favorite bow type, the Recurve, uses the crappier of the two.

I like the Longbow skin a lot better too. However Longbows are useless so I went Recurve for my Tormented Item.

skins aside, recurves are always better. longbows are only superior in certain builds (b/p), and even then, i only carry one for pulling.

The recurve is far better imo, long looks like roller bettle claws, recurve is one of the few torment weapons that deosnt look really weird, just cool

Longs are far better in any situation imo, cept pve that is. long range is real good and the arrow speed isn't slowed down.

Same question i've an ambrace and i dunno if longbow or recurve bow.
I've destroyer and eternal bow, and storm zodiac bow.
At lest i go for longbow since recurve bow size skin si very cool but bow size is too small and i like my destroyer recurve bow. In pve there's not difference between longbow and recurve bow since mob ar not a skilled player ^^

i dont understand that statement at all. the only time longbows would be any good would be in pve. if you're playing pvp of any sort as a so called ranger, and you're not using a recurve, you probably need a few more lessons in playing an effective ranger.

I would have to say Longbow, as I generally dislike the shorter bow styles.

In any case if you like long/hornbow skin and you would like interrupt you can use Read the Wind that cancel any difference with the recurve.
