It's a long way from Lion's Arch. I have not done it my self. When I got the quest I asked my guild mates and a guild mate told me that it is south of Temple Of Ages and that the monsters there are quite hard since I was around lvl 15 at that time.

alright, were is Temple of Ages from Lions Arch?

It's hard, no infact it's very hard I spent a good 5 hours trying to do it, and becasue of the flying henchman bug I had to restart the quest many times over.
The best plan is Start form thr Temple of Ages, as you get up to a party of 8 there. And run all the way to the souther exit as soon as youleave the Temple. Don't even stop to take a breath, jsut run and heal if need be. As when you enter a new area all your henchmen will come back even if they are dead.
Once your in the area of the Wizards Tower, prepair to go very slow, drawing creatures out a few at a time. Minators are easy but when you have two mobs of 7 your screwed, you you need to separate the pack out a bit then take one group at a time. If you not carful the Okhearts will join in as well. So when you pul the minators and troll make sure their is nothing that can argo around you.
In sight of the tower. Well you have done the easy bit, now you have about 50 or so lvl 20 things to deal with, each one spawns multiple Upgraded bone fiends, so as soon as you kill one of they you get another creature to deal with. Not to mention the few bosses and healers amongst them, makes this section one of the hardest to do without ahveing 8 human players.
I personall went all the way round he back of the valley past the hill giants. this route gives you a few lest thigns to kill and yalso you can run liek bugger to get away. Once you have cleared a path down one side of the other use it, you only get lvl 11 bandit in there, and the chap you need to kill. Don't hope to kill everything on th slopes leading to the tower as you will be her for ever.
Also expect a Death Penilty fo 60% for most of this area, however it's a goo place for XP for characters up to Lvl 18.
Also don't ask me to do the quest with you as I never want to see that place again.

From what I heard, it's ironic how Galrath uses an axe, therefore doesn't use his own Galrath's Slash.

Well..I tried getting past it...unfortunately, the dreaded flying henchman bug struck me at the most inopportune time...*sigh*...
I know how hard it can be to find this place, So I went ahead and made a screenie of the area you'd have to travel to. I marked the gates you'll need to traverse in order to get to your destination. There are 4 in total. The exact path to each will become clear to you as you travel there. Anyways, hope this helps some. ^_^.

You can go around the back and skip the level 20 mob? Cool.
Seriously though, this seems waaayy harder than the Altea Ashe's quest, it should give a much better reward than 500 exp and 2 junk items.

I did that quest with a group of other players just after I hit level 14, and having no idea what I was in for.
I was halfway to level 17 by the time we finished
That said, with a solid group it's not an issue of difficulty (we didn't have many people die at all) but one of longevity. It took us close to 2 hours or so, I think, to do the whole thing.

This quest is ridiculously hard.. ;P I just tried it for the second time with henchmen, and I went around the back. Well.. the majority of the mob came after me even after quite a few attempts to only pull a few.
don't try it with henchmen.. if you die and they get the 'floating bug', you won't be happy. >.<
