Protective Spirit instead of Spirit Bond? Spirit Bond might not activate in all areas in NM.
deluxe
change rebirth for the hex removal, change to a prot elite that is actually decent.
RC/ZB/SoD and even Divert Hexes, Choice depends on the area you play.
spirit bond is fine if the other monk takes prot spirit.
mend ailment has been terrible since the 5sec recharge, take dismiss or mend condition. (mending touch in case of RC elite)
Things to consider on prot bars: Guardian, Shield of Absorbtion, Shielding hands. Good and cheap prots.

My opinion is that Rebirth is a waste of a slot. You can get plenty of argument on that though, so let's stay away from that.
Go hybrid. You're actually already going hybrid with Gift of Health there, but I'd opt for Word of Healing since it's insanely strong now.
Protective Spirit > Spirit Bond in PvE.
Dismiss Condition > Mend Ailment, but seeing your bar I think you only have Prophecies/Factions?

I believe that Life Sheath and SBond don't stack well, so it's best not to have them on the same bar.
I agree with the recommendation for small prots. If you can replace Guardian with Aegis, you can drop GoLE for another small prot/hex removal.

Today 06:25 AM Maybe I play too much PvP but shouldn't everyone on the team have 500-640hp so...
Spirit bond will trigger if the enemy hits for 60 dmg or more.
Prot Spirit will prevent damage when the enemy hits for 50-60 dmg.
The only problem with prot spirit is...
If the enemy hits a 600hp target that has prot spirit on them, and deals 61 base damage to that target, prot spirit would only prevent 1 damage.
If Spirit Bond were on the same target instead of prot spirit, and the enemy hit for 61 base damage, Spirit Bond would end up, not only preventing all the damage taken, but healing the ally for about +20hp!
This is why Spirit Bond is BY FAR better than prot spirit. The only reason why any team should bring prot spirit is because it stacks with spirit bond so if a single ally has both enchantments on them, they are pretty much un-spikable.

Now that ^that^ is out of the way -- I can help with the OP question.
I'll just give you some good prot monk bars and you can go from there...

By the way, unless there were any recent buffs I think there are better elites to use than Life Sheath, but whatever. horseradish
I would suggest [skill]Word of Healing[/skill] [skill]Blessed Light[/skill] [skill]Restore Condition[/skill] or [skill]Empathic Removal[/skill] for you elite slot, cuz i'm guessing you only have Prophecies and Factions.
How does Life Sheath even work? It sounds like an egotistical RoF. Burst Cancel
Life Sheath is bad.
If you're playing in normal mode, take Word of Healing and 7 empty skill slots. Mash on the Easy Button (TM) for instant victory. mayand

So change the res in a hex removal. 3 blocking enchants may be overkill as well, but depends on area Wakka

That builds not too bad, I would question SoD though as unless your going into somewhere with overpowered melee characters ,then guardian should suffice. I would suggest one with more of a healing output e.g. ZB, RC, Divert Hexes You've also forgot quite possibly one of the best monk skills in the game, (maybe even one of the best skills) [skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill]. If your going to be in high end areas also consider [skill]Protective Spirit[/skill] or [skill]Spirit Bond[/skill]. Like Pyro said drop the res. I think its ridiclous that monks are expected to carry a res, if anyone calls you a noob for this just laugh as they cast mending. Hope this helps ^^ Wakka Yichi
If you're wanting a good hybrid prot bar for PvE I'd reccommend something like this...
Attributes: 14 Prot (12+1+1) 11 Heal (10+1) 9 divine (8+1) Skills: Dismiss Condition Reversal of Fortune Word of Healing [E] Shield of Absorbtion Holy Veil or Cure Hex (since you have Word and not Gift) Protective Spirit or Spirit Bond Glyph of Lesser Energy Aegis Wakka
Thats works ^^

I agree but if this is for pve I would definely bring rebirth or you will get blamed.Eles don't belive on bringing a res thinking their damage is more than enough. |
