How do you become an elite guru or a moderator on this forum, and does it cost money to do so? Just curious. Thanks!

Like holababe said, you become an Elite Guru by donating to the site... Not exactly sure where though.
To become a mod, well, you'll either have to get chosen, or respond to one of the "Looking for new moderators!" announcements that comes up once in awhile, and hope you'll get invited.

just note that they advertise a monthly drawing, yet i havent seen any sign of one in a few months, emailed support about the matter a week ago, yet no reply... looks like some false advertising to me...
