No way this ain't gonna work there whas a thread on hardcore mode a while ago.
Not interested we have hard mode if you feel like that it's to easy try to play without armor and get lvl 3 survivor.
or something like that.

Maybe one way give all mobs 12 skills and a few elites.
And make them 1 hit kill ya with 1000 damage protective spirit and such skills don't work anymore max armor value is 30 for a wammo and 10 for a caster.
you may only use 4 skills and no elite ohhh yea and your weapons have half the normal damage and you suffer from -4 Health degen and -2 energy degen when in a exploreble area.

HM is boring enough as it is and a nightmare mode wont make it no more challenging.

But I still will be happy to play something harder than Hard Mode, just for fun like I ALWAYS play this game, so the suggestion is for real.

Oh! and I hate people complaining about grinding, because you grind ONLY if want to. Nobody is putting a gun in your head for max a useless title.

You can always play with less people in your party, less skills etc. Great way to make sure the difficulty level is just right for you.

Try to play NM naked, that will give u a certain nightmare

Nightmare Mode still wont keep some people quiet. No matter how hard you make it it will still be "too easy".

i think personally a-net can make nightmare mode work... ya it would piss some people off..but it's not the first time a-net has done something to make people mad

No, it wouldn't be fun. Hard Mode is hard enough. You'd even have people farming in the new mode for better chances of drops which would be *seriously* annoying for those have been farming in HM for better drop chance, and nothing good would drop in NM.

That's a serious matter. Casual players getting nothing more than warden horns after killing Sunreach 100 times? That would be seriously frustrating and turn people away. The really bad thing is that it would be more like 1000x. Experienced people get upset that they have to play harder and harder modes to get anything nice to drop and everyone else just loses.

Heres a better idea.

Put full skill bars and secondarys on monsters in HM.
Give shiro some kinda hex removal, his banish skill works on 2 people in HM.

Then you can all come back crying how >.> oh the games too hard now.
