skill packs bugged?

it states that if you buy a skill pack you hero's will all get those skills to use and of coarse the pvp is there, but it also says that these skills will then be available to obtain from any skill npc after purchase for your regular toon. Well I bought all the packs and it does give the skills to my heros and I assume they are there for pvp. But there has been no change with the skill npc's. I went to one in each campaign and they still just have the same old skills they used to have.

Are you sure you tried in the right campaign, Prophecies Skills can only be bought at Prophecies Skill Trainers.

I had the same experience, it didn't seem to open anything up for me. What a waste.

I bought the packs and have access to all the skills but the elites. I used tomes though since they are cheaper. Most tomes are no more than 500G and the trader gets up to 1K per skill pretty quickly. Also last time I checked with a skill trainer, they had a lot more skills than I remember them ever having before.

I noticed that the first character I created didn't have them unlocked at the skill trainers either... but I only bought them for my henches anyway so I didn't mind.

Is it possible you already had all the skills unlocked?

I bought all the skill packs. My heroes have ALL the skills that are unlocked except the TITLE TRACK skills because you cant equip them to Heroes. When you go to a Skill Tainer all the unknown skills are lised as (unlocked) and thus are available for purchase from that skill trainer. If the skill is listed as a core skill then it is available at any skill trainer in any campaign (I believe this is how it works) or from a skill trainer that is selling skills per campaign (Proph, Factions, NF, GwEN) and you have to hop around to get them.

ONE THING though...the Prophecies skill pack only contains about HALF the skills available, to get the other skills you have buy the CORE Pack which contains all the skills considered core in all campaigns. Elite skills still need either a cap sig capture or the use of a Elite Tome to use on Your toon.

For someone who took an 18 month break from the game after Factions came out....these skill packs are IMHO wonderful

As soon as I bought the pack, I could buy all NF skills from the Trainer in Kamadan. Way more than he was offering before.

Exactly. That's actually a better idea if you bought the skills packs since you will get skills CHEAPER with tomes then from the trainers.
